The front desk employees were absolutely horrible to me and it was my very first visit. I didn't even get a chance to see what the Dr. was like as I couldn't get past the witches at the front desk for my appointment!! And I drove a long way to get there and was not feeling well at all! Very poor business practice if you ask me. Shameful! more

What I was told would take 45 minutes to 1 hour for the initial visit, took 2 hours and 15 minutes. One wouldn't mind if the doctor had been involved in the process, but the amount of time I saw the doctor was at most 5 minutes. Know that when you go in first they clean your ears, and then give you a hearing test prior to seeing the doctor. I had a problem with my ear in that it would plug up occasionally, pain in my ear, pain above my eye on the same side as my ear which throbs whenever I sneeze or cough. The diagnosis? The doctor told me I was loosing hearing ""due to my age"", and had no idea why the pain - which is the main reason for my visit. When I complained about the length of time for the visit, the physician said ""these difficult cases take time."" If seeing me for 5 minutes constitutes a ""difficult case"" I can't imagine how much time he takes when it’s a simple one. Sure wish he would have found the cause for my ear ache and headache, which continues today - almost two months later. A waste of my time and insurance money! All of their Doctors are great! But their desk staff is unfriendly. Or ""Fake"" Friendly. Most of them have been there for a long time, so they are COMFORTABLE and real set in there ways. The ones that work at the office seems like they have grown old and seasoned and have a problem with young women. I walked in there and couldn't even open my mouth good, before they started to be rude with me. Then I called on the phone, and the receptionist was rude. But then once she realized who my parents were> Especially my Father, she started to be nice. 2 weeks later, I had to go back for a check up, and one of the Ladies of the front desk staff was really rude. I just had a question about Co-pay, and she thought I was trying to pick a fight. I just had a simple question that was not explained to me. I think the women there really have issues with aging, and the way they look, or whatever it is. It seems like they are mad, all the time. And its not good, because my family has been going to the Rontals for over 30 years and they are great Doctors. And if the desk staff keeps being rude, they will loose more business.
