We finally dumped Dr. Knapp. Nice guy, but never tests for anything. He told me: "I think your child has H1N1" but didn't bother testing, so what was I supposed to tell the school. My other child had 15 ear infections the 1st year of her life. He pooh-pooh'd the need for tubes. We went on our own to an ENT, she got the tubes and never had another ear infection again (and is 7 yrs. old now). He thought it better that she be on antibiotics twice every month? more

Great Pedi! 8/15/2005

My daughter loves her Dr. Knapp! He is a very friendly doc that always seems to be available when needed. He has a website set up that he maintains for the simplest of questions and I have been able to email him for others. What a great way to talk to a doc if you dont have an emergency! In the case where my daughter did become ill, the aftercare nurses were amazing. How nice to get a call back at 2am and the person on the other end not be grumpy and upset you called and woke them up. Now that is service! more

Dr Roger Knapp 7/15/2005

Dr Knapp is a great pediatrician. We took our son there for many years (we switched when we had to switch insurance plans). We never had trouble getting an appointment when he was sick. He has a great way of getting kids to warm up to him. The nurses and office staff was always friendly. We also saw the other doctors in the practice and we liked them as well. more
