Rodak Dog Training

After reading the two other reviews (one of which is only heresay), I felt the need to write a positive review. We bought our puppy from Rodak last year despite the poor review I read on here. Yes, Roger seems like he is a few french fries short of a happy meal, but we have a healthy and lovable dog. He has had no medical issues whatsoever and he is a year old already. I would defintely purchase another dog from Rodak Dog Training as our puppy has been such a joy to my family. more

I purchased a dog from Rodak on 7/1/09 and took him to the vet and immediately found out he had a congenital heart defect. I took him to a second vet , and was told the same thing. I contacted Roger and he told me he would refund me the money for the dog and I could either bring the dog back or keep it. I showed up the next morning without the dog to get my money back and he asked where the dog was and I said my sister had him. He replied, "Your sister can come over and drown him in the pond."I was appalled and asked him if that is what he would do, and he smirked and replied, "Of course not." After making the comment in the first place, I obviously do not believe him as otherwise there'd be no reason to make that comment. I then told him that we'd handle euthanizing the dog in a humane way, and he told me I would not get my money back unless I gave him the dog. After reading Deevadog's review, I decided to contact my own veterenarian, since they are located so closely to Rodak, and I found out that my vet has had dealings with Rodak in the past, and none of them were good!!! Cons: animal cruelty more

As an update to my earlier review--the puppy that Roger would not refund my money on after I found it to have a heart condition THREE HOURS after purchasing it from him was taken to the UW Vet hospital yesterday for a complete cardiac workup. Cons: BREEDS DOGS WITH GENETIC DEFECTS more
