Rockport Landing

Let me start off by saying that I would have loved living here if it weren't for all of the problems with my water pressure. I lived there for the last year and grew to love my apartment.. there were no bugs.. it was a great location.. and it was in my price range. Unfortunately, the water pressure was so weak at times.. that I would have to shower with a cup. Anyway.. back to my point.. Misty is amazing. When I came to her with any problem.. she made me feel like a human being.. when others have treated my like a teenager. She was very understanding and professional and did what she could to make anything happen.. for example: getting my fridge fixed (which didn't happen quickly before she was there.) She is kind and attentive to everyone comes into that office. Thanks to her.. I felt heard. THANK YOU MISTY! The rating is for you. more

I have lived here since 2010 and due to eroding pipes the owner will not fix, the water is shut off at least for an entire day ONE day EACH WEEK. Thats when we're notified, other times you'll just turn the faucet on and nothing comes out. Twice I've had to go to work without a shower. Today, December 17, 2011 A Saturday, the water has been shut off for over 9 hours... no one can cook, clean, shower or even flush the toilet. Its like living in a third world country. But boy they want their rent money and will attempt to raise rent $20 a month when its time to renew the lease. DON'T MOVE HERE!!! more

I didn't actually live at Rockport but whenever I went to visit friends I was able to get in those pretend gates, Either they was broken or just sit in car and wait for someone to open them doesn't take a genius to figure that stuff out. Was at the pool one day and the girl I was visiting was harassed for wearing a colored shirt in the pool thats messed up, I'm so glad I chose not to move to that place not to mention, the place is poorly managed I saw this guy that dressed so unprofessional I thought he was a grounds keeper Until my friend told me he was the new manager, I work in the professional field and you need to dress the part, How he ever got the title as manager is beyond me, is Rockport that desperate for help or did he swindle his way in I dunno but I Highly recommend checking out other places before you settle on this poorly staffed complex. Leaky Faucets walls cracking locks on doors never changed had an ex tennant come in when I was sitting watching tv he didn't think I was home NOT a good intro to my new apt I was scared..took 5 days for the locks to get changed after my initial complaint, the pool is always closed good thing as it is always greenish. I pay for water but it seems everytime I turn around it is shut off due to some pipe work so never at my convenience. I highly recommend another place as I'm due to move soon my lease is up and I cant wait to move. Pros: Nothing good to say Cons: Poor Maintance more

When I 1st moved in It was an ok place SO I THOUGHT...Gale was very pleasant and she had her faults as well, Hence the reason she was let go...But the new manager is totally unreasonable and judgemental, I had an Unruly neighbor below me that complained about me walking too loud and the management staff said that 1 more complaint then I would be able to move to a different apartment within the complex...WELL one more complaint and I get evicted!! So totally unfair,Need I remind you I am Gay and WHITE and was living surrounded by black and straight people...anywho Yes I'm upset so Yeh your thinking I'm talking bad because what had happened BUT, There were other things like per say normal stuff I suppose like the building shifted so none of my closet doors worked anymore the bathroom door didn't close anymore, apparently the faucets leaked as the lady down stairs complained about all the time so Maintanance had been to our place atleast 5 times(you would have thought they fixed it the 1st time) I'm from Maine so I was taught those HUGE beetles are actually they wont allow the word on here but you can imagine. I just thought they was junebugs or something(still researching that) So yeh I totally dont recommend these apartments BUT if you want to give it a try so be it, but trust me not worth your time or money go down the street to Foxfire apartments MUCH better!!
