The labor and delivery nurses at this hospital were awesome. They all read my birth plan and were respectful of my wishes. Mainly, I had wanted a natural birth and the nurses were really encouraging -- giving me feedback on how the labor was progressing, offering me extra pillows, giving me juice and water without my needing to ask for it, etc. My main delivery nurse gave me helpful exercises to do to make my delivery as pain-free and comfortable as possible. They were very professional. The Newborn Inn is small, so you get a lot of personalized care and advice from the nurses. I would choose this hospital the next time around too.
I have nothing bad to say about the nurses, but the only complaint I would have about this hospital is that the sanitation conditions could be better. My trash bins were full to the brim and the bins weren't changed for 2 days. But maybe if you were more vocal about having the cleaning woman come by your room, the conditions would be better.
