My wife has been cdl driving for ten years. She has a perfect DAC. The company she worked for was bought out by Robinson. after only a couple weeks driving for robinson the troubles began.The one in charge M***, is a woman hater.He talked down to my wife and said she is too old to be choosey about where she works. Long story short there were so many issues,and because she wouldnt kiss his a**,she was fired.then they called her back saying she wasnt fired,just to use her for a load that had to be on time.On the way back home,they called her and said clean out your truck,your fired again. So stay away from this company,especially if you are female. more

I have worked at Robinson for over 16 years as an over the road driver. My pay scale is at 41 cents per mile. I have made $60,000 per year for several years. I don't know who the person was that gave Robinson that bad review but he was not telling the truth. I checked with payroll and we never had a David Hoss working here. They are very honest people and I am glad that I found Robinson 16 years ago. Pros: Very honest people to work for and I'm home every weekend Cons: Like working for any truckload carrier, it's hard work. more

David Hoss is evidently unhappy and is'nt on the roster\r at Robinson'n now or ever. If the DAC report complaint\r of his were true he has a good lawsuit. I don't believe him or his other complaints and hope anyone looking for work gives them a look and check them out themselves rather than let someone ruin something that might be just what they might be looking for. They have good equipment,management,dispatchers,owners, mechanics. They work with you. If you are a truck driver looking for a good local company that you can count on, RUN AWAY FROM THIS ONE! Their treatment of the drivers that work for them is among the worst I have experienced in 23 yrs as a truck driver. The owner, Rick Robinson, has the openly stated opinion that drivers are ""a dime a dozen"". Worse, when you quit, they will put outright lies on your DAC report and try to make you unhireable and then call you in a couple of weeks to see if you would like to drive for them again. Their dispatch process is unfathomable. It is supposed to go by senority but you will find often that you do a 400 mile run and someone junior to you doing a California run that you were never offered.\r They pay 33.5 cents/mile. After 10 yrs, you go to 34.5 cents/mile. They will keep $1000 of your money in escrow and, although they will say otherwise, you will never see this money again. I sincerely hope, for your own quality of life, that you never work for this company. Even Swift is better than these crooks! Pros: Can't think of a single thing to recommend re: Robinson Transport Cons: The Owner, dispatchers, poor treatment of drivers, very bottom of pay scale. more
