We were extremely pleased......location......cleanliness......was above our expectations for the price. I see that I can't list the name of our check in clerk but I was treated very nicely. My husband and I would highly recommend this motel for anyone that doesn't mind an older motel in clean condition at a very reasonable price...we loved it. more

The Riverside Inn is a vintage motel with a really nice vibe. Friendly staff, decent breakfast, long walking distance or short driving distance to downtown Columbia. I enjoyed my two-day stay quite a bit and will make a point of staying there again next time I have business in Columbia. more

It is a perfectly located hotel for my business trip to the University. Located right on the riverwalk, I enjoyed its classic simplicity and vintage charm. Rooms were exceptionally clean. We were greeted in prime Southern style by Ginger at the front desk. She's great! more

Hotel is older but very clean and the price was great. The check in area was nice and the desk clerk very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast wasn't bad considering most hotels in that price range generally only have coffee and donuts/toast or something similar. I would definitely stay here again. more

Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised...no mold or mildew in the bathroom...it was very clean....no nasty sheets...they were clean....the room was plain, but clean. The AC worked like a charm. more

We stayed 2 nights and everything was great. The staff was very helpful (even helped jump our car when the battery died). The room was very clean and the comforters even looked relatively new. It was perfect for our purposes, which was to find an economical hotel. We only needed the room for sleeping. more
