I was there this past year and it was awful you had the staff being rude to you like you were a burden on them no clean towels to shower with if you said too much you got put down with a shot you had no mental canceling and to top off after you were emotionally abused by the staff you had these absolutely insane women trying to get your room for sex none stop it was so bad I took myself out of there to get help from the abuse I encountered there this one woman I had trying to get into my bed was Sharon Richard she visits there frequently so people look out not only did she harass me in the hospital but she for 4 months relentlessly with pure evil harassed my wife with calls she was going to kill her someone needs to do something about this place cause it's a far beyond a nuthouse because this place doesn't care to do their job somebody is going to end up in a fight for their life. more

Finance guy is the one getting wealthy off that dump. Only IRA or Treasury know for sure. more

Had a friend that got placed in here. Main thing I have to say is that the Doctor that is there is a quack. All he cares about is lining his pockets with prescriptions. He doesn't even try to act like he cares about any one even his staff there. more

Patient care seems last on the list of employer requirements. Profit reigns supreme. Food is AWFUL as are the residences (i.e. Jail Cells). Some decent employee's but severely understaffed. Most employee's could care less if you live or die. Should be shut down. My situation there was worse then when I admitted myself. Be warned. more

one star because there is not a 0. unsafe work environment. Unsafe for patients. never send your kid there it is just awful. medication is overused for behaviors that could be corrected in other ways. horrible patient care. extremely understaffed but purposeful to make a profit. terrible training for new employees. investigations need to be done. unbelievable that this place is allowed to operate. Never been in a hospital environment that is so dirty. patient rooms have 3 to 4 people. more

This place is a joke. I was a patient at river point behavioral health and none of the staff cared about u except 4 of the staff members. Most of the stAff are rude and if u ask for something it’s like they completely ignore you. The doctor doesn’t listen to anything u say and would rather argue with u then help u. My first day I was very upset and couldn’t sleep at night. I was very upset that day but I was scared to cry because it seems like every time u show emotion they assume ur depressed and need to stay longer the doctor will also give u meds just for crying. I feel like he’s just doping children up I felt like I was going crazy while being there the food is horrible and it’s honestly not healthy at all . I was very upset because I was stuck in a room all day I was feeling anxious because they wouldnt let us go outside being in that room all day everyday makes u feel uneasy soo I was upset and asked to talk to the doctor the staff ignored me soo I tried taking things into my own hands whenever I saw him I’d ask can I talk to you he’d walk right past me and take one of the other girls. I’d ask to talk to my mom on the phone and they’d say no wait till 6:30. It’s absolutely freezing and unwelcoming. They even tried keeping me longer to get money out of my insurance. When the staff began hearing me say that they were taking money out of everyones insurance and that I was going to sue them if they kept me here any longer they let me out the next day. I do not recommend this place if ur looking for real help. Zero stars more

I was at River Point JAIL for nearly a week. This place needs to be closed down. There is no help for any patient here. I had stopped taking my Zoloft and ended up in this JAIL and falsly labelled as an alcholic since there was nothing to keep me on. (This is how they JAIL you in this facility, label you as something and keep you BUT only if you have insurance.) The director of this facility, who is a total joke of a person, told my wife the HIPPA, and Patient Rights posters on the walls were just poster on the wall and that nobody has rights here. This is from the preson running the JAIL! Being in the medical profession for over 30 years it is appalling to see this kind of treatment being done to another human being. Stories of Rape, Beatings, deffecation on other inmates...and so on…. My last day wrapped up with a solid hour of an inmate spitting blood up and down the hallways while screaming at the top of his lungs. What a way to end the nightmare. Two large women tackling another inmate as if they were all wearing football pads. This place is not helping anyone, only the Mercedes payments for the pseudo doctors and nurses they employ. Don’t try to get legal help either, once they hear “River Point” the lawyers assume your crazy and will not touch this case. It may be time for a Class Action Lawsuit; any layers want to make some money? more

My husband came come from war 10/13 he was baker acted from war related issues a week ago he call to tell me how horrible this place was have not heard from him since my husbands not a complainer do not trust this hospital ! more
