When the lake ran out of water this summer we practically lived on the Sacramento River - and the American River. Riverbank became our stomping grounds. We kept the boat there for 2 months this summer and truly enjoyed the experience. The river has such a wonderful, friendly and exciting atmosphere - all of which is reflected at Riverbank. We met a bunch of fun people who, like us, just liked to hang out on the river, have a beer at Crawdad's and watch the sun set. Good times.
Pros: no where else like it in Sacramento
Cons: parking can be a little tough, but there is free Valet most busy nights
