Rivendell is dedicated to providing the highest quality care to adolescents and children who are seeking help. Rivendell is recognized in the State as a leader in the treatment of children and adolescents. Patients are referred to Rivendell from all across the State, particularly to the specialty programs that serve the unique treatment needs of children and adolescents. Current programming provides for the special needs of mentally ill children and adolescents. The TRUST program treats adolescents who are dealing with chemical dependency and general psychiatric concerns. The COURAGE program treats adolescent males who have been charged with a sexual offense. The CHOICES program serves children ages 5-12 who are experiencing general psychiatric concerns. The NEW DIRECTIONS program addresses the needs of adolescents who have general psychiatric issues. Rivendell is dedicated to providing the highest quality care to adolescents and children who are seeking help. The most beneficial impact that that Rivendell hopes to provide is the positive emotional impact on the people that we serve. The Assessment & Referral Department coordinates the scheduling of all assessments. Emergency assessments are available 24 hours a day,7 days a week on site at the hospital. In some non-emergency cases,mobile assessments may be arranged at an alternative site,such as a school,physician's office,or social service agency.
