Overall, we had a very nice meal at Parma. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The food was not spectacular, but very good. We'll be back since it's just a couple blocks away from where we live - but I wouldn't necessarily include it on my list of favorite SF restaurants. The antipasto misto is a nice way to sample a number of different things. It's listed as ""for one"", but you can ask them to make it for two or whatever your party is. We also shared the Penne Romanoff which sounded amazing but was only so-so and the Veal Piccata which was very, very lemony and good. Finally, we had the tiramisu which is normally not my favorite thing, but I had to admit it was very good. Like I said, overall it was a pleasant experience, so if you live in the area, I recommend it. But if not, I'm sure you have an equally good or better Italian restaurant in your neighborhood.
Pros: Very nice atmosphere, good service
Cons: Food is solid, but average
