This family run miracle has been in existence for 2 or 3 years, and yet it remains a bit of a secret in North Miami/Aventura, primarily due to its' humble location. But it you want high-end Italian (read: home cooked) food, go directly there - tonight...... This is NOT reheated Olive Garden mush. For pasta, the Lasagna is magnificent, and several variations of homemade ravioli are on the menu almost every night. Seafood and meats are always prepared expertly. The appetizers are unique and well presented - I had the eggplant on a parmesan crisp - incredible. I usually frequent Circo or Trattoria Del Arte in New York, and the little Portovino is every bit as good, if not BETTER on certain nights. It is also half the price, with a reasonable selection of Italian table wines.
Pros: Food - Incredible Food
Cons: Location
