Rio is great fun 4/3/2011

A 24-hour party atmosphere reverberates through the vibrant red, purple and blue neon towers of the Rio Las Vegas, where large suites, ample entertainment and popular dining combine for the ultimate off-Strip experience. For Bottle Service, Cabanas, Daybeds, Front of Line VIP Entry, Guestlist, Limo Service, Show Tickets, and/or Hotel Reservations please contact Nocturnal Vegas VIP by call/text 702 587 2456 more

I keep going back time and time again! 5/31/2008

I love this hotel. Such a party atmosphere and I love that the Chippendale show is at the RIO. This show always makes me feel good. I see it every time I go to Vegas. The guys are so sweet and so easy on the eyes. Ladies you can't go to Las Vegas without seeing the Chippendales at the RIO! \r \r more

so much fun! 8/16/2007

This hotel/casino is a constant party. The pools are amazing and the cocktail waitresses wear bright pink bikinis. The rooms are pretty big, but depending on the room some are not as nice as others. And some have this window from the bedroom area into the bathroom. I don't understand that. The buffet is pretty good. It had a huge dessert display. I think dinner was about $25 each unless you're a club member or something. The drinks are good, not too pricey. It has a Starbucks and a Coffee Bean/Tea Leaf. It used to have this great Mexican restaurant but it's not there anymore :( But the Tilted Kilt is a fun pub. Pretty good food, beer, and the servers wear mini kilts (like a mini skirt but a kilt) Anyway- this place is great. I think it even had a free shuttle to the strip. Pros: awesome pool, large room Cons: not on the strip more

Such a fun place, for being aways away from the Strip 4/1/2007

This place just has such a fun party atmosphere that it's hard to not have a good time here. It's just one big party! The buffet here has so much seafood! There are lines for days sometimes to get into it, but it's worth the wait! This place is such a fun hotel to stay at that it doesn't matter too much that you're not on the strip, which is a good thing because it's a long walk (I walked it myself and it looks deceptively short). Pros: The whole atmosphere and feel of the place Cons: You'll probably want transportation to get to the Strip more

I love this hotel 11/21/2006

This hotel is great I booked one Easter weekend and was able to check into the room early which is nice. The hotel room is classy comfortable bed, nice pool, lively atmosphere. The staff was great I shopped around for the best rate and when I called the Rio they were able to beat the internet price if I booked directly with the hotel. Pros: good atmosphere Cons: not directly on the strip more

Rock On 11/18/2006

We had a blast at the Rio. The ""bevertainers"" made a late night of rapid roulette a great time with their friendliness, prompt service (some of the best in Vegas) and dancing. The Rio was a great place to lose yourself and most of your wallet while having a great time. more

Best Hotel, Best Buffet , Above par Casino 11/17/2006

This is one of the better places to go in Las Vegas. The rio is packed with friendly atmosphere. The buffet is what makes this place a hot spot. One of the buffet is a Benihana type style of set up. Pros: Great Casino, Best Buffet Cons: Packed Continuously more

Like it 11/13/2006

I really enjoying going to the Rio on a regular basis. The show in the sky is always fun with a lot of upbeat music and the people REALLY will do anything to get those silly beads, but it's always a good time. I throughly enjoy the atmosphere and the general vibe of the place. It's a good time with friends and a lot of fun. Go see Penn and Teller if you can. more

ALL SUITE HOTEL? 11/11/2006

i dont know why they say that it is a all suite hotel, i did not stay in a suite! it was a good sized room, a good 450sf, but it was not a suite. if you can get a deal to stay here for under $100.00 a night sure stay here, but it is not worth a penny more than that. ok service, i did have to wait for my room 2 hrs, it is clean, but nothing fancy at all. Cons: there just rooms not suite's more

Las Vegas' BEST 5/28/2006

Whether it's just the two of us or the entire family, we always feel comfortable at RIO. The VOODOO Lounge is a must for adults and the Carnival Area is a must for ALL. GOOD FOOD; GOOD GAMING; GREAT ROOMS; FANTASTIC SERVICE. The Rio has it ALL. And it VERY AFORDABLE.. Pros: ROOM SIZE, LOW PRICE, VOODOO LOUNGE more

Loved the Rio 3/28/2006

My sister and I stayed at the Rio last week and it was wonderful. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were large. I wouldn't call it a suite, but it was still larger that others for the same price. The bathroom was huge which was great for two girls getting ready to go out. They have a free shuttle to take you to Bally's or Ceasars, which makes staying off the strip okay. The only complaint I have was that the ATM's were out of money, my transaction was approved but I had to go the the cage for my money the the attendant was a rude smarty pants! Pros: large rooms, friendly staff more

Rio-ok stay! 3/25/2006

The Rio had nice rooms and size. The food and the selection of hotels are great-the mexican restaurant is not all that good. The buffet was excellent, sushi was fresh and the meals well prepared. Ate at the All American Cafe as an everyday inexpensive meal and the service and food was great!!! The hotel is not as nice as the Caesar's or Venetian but if you want a nice place to stay and have fun you can stay there... The check in and check out were a horrible experience. You have to schedule to use the airport shuttle and they don't tell you about that during reservation time. The room you book on early reservations are not the same as when you check in. Big Problems with Checkin-make sure you check in early in the day-don't wait till check in late in the day-you then get whatever they have Pros: fun place, great food Cons: crowded, big trouble check in more

spacious rooms 3/1/2006

spacious rooms (suites, actually) at a more affordable price make this a pleasurable experience. Not quite the luxury of some hotels, but comfortable. Long distance to the elevator in the far tower. Hotel is not on the strip and requires a car to get around. Pros: spacious rooms, reasonable price Cons: far dist to elev, not on the strip more

Love the Rio 7/8/2004

I love staying here. The rooms are huge. You can typically find a great rate if you come during the week. The windows facing the mountains, downtown or the Strip are floor to ceiling. Since it's off the Strip, there's not as much foot traffic and getting here is easier. They do offer a shuttle between here and Harrah's so you don't have to drive. Check out the seafood buffett downstairs. Kinda pricey but well worth it. The pool here is nice as well. Pros: Huge Rooms, Not as Busy more

Real cool casino 8/8/2002

This Casino has a great show where boats of people come parading out of the ceiling! O.k you might be reading that last line and be like what is this guy talking about?! But stage performers come out of the ceiling and parade around on floats. They sing beautiful songs and really get the crowd into it. When theyre at the climax they throw beautiful beads at the casino go'ers. I caught 2 strings of beads and gave them to a very special lady. This is a very romantic hotel and was the highlight of all the casinos that I visited in Vegas. Its not on the strip. But dont fret. You'll still have a gay ole time! more

Great room, average casino 7/29/2002

Our huge room in the older Ipanema tower didn't have much of a view (not facing the strip), but it was clean and large (couch, big TV, two fridges). Definitely a great value for the money. The service was good though a bit impersonal at this huge hotel. The casino floor is a bit confusing and poorly designed. The off-strip (just over the 15 freeway) location can be inconvenient for gamblers looking to travel to other casinos for fun, but the free valet parking is awesome for guests who bring a car. The pools, like many in Vegas, were large, crowded and do not include enough cabanas and shaded deck space. Pros: great rooms, good value Cons: off-strip location, confusing casino more

Great place to stay 6/27/2002

Many places in Vegas have good show, good and gaming. However the Rio has Wonderful staff and a the Jazz bar on top is a great way to get away from the high tempo of Vegas while enjoying the view. more

Hot Spot 6/11/2002

We have been going to Vegas for the past 5 years and always stay at the Rio. I can't image staying any place else, well maybe the Belligio. But the Rio is the best for your money. All suites. No small run of the house room. more

RIO ROCKS 5/29/2002

World class restaurants, superb service, easy to get to without fighting traffic on the strip, but close enough to the strip if you wanted to go somewhere else (I wouldn't know why), excellent entertainment, a great rewards program, and top night clubs make this resort my favorite. I have never have even a hint of a bad experience at The Rio. I can't say the same for many of the other hotels I've frequented and have now made the Rio my constant hotel of choice when in Vegas. Pros: Easy Access, Great Value, World Class more
