Richmond Towing & Recovery

I normally don't take the time to give reviews but felt Richmond Towing was worthy of an excellent review! My story began when my truck hauling my motorcycles back from bike week broke down on interstate 95. I needed my truck towed and wasn't going to leave over $150k in motorcycles and enclosed trailer on the side of the interstate. They were able to tow my truck and trailer to the dealership then tow the trailer back to their place while I made arrangements for another truck. The tow driver was excellent and understood my concerns. He also suggested a great hotel and restaurant which afterwards seemed like an extended vacation other than being stranded in an unknown city. more

My overall experience with this company was good with no complaints but read the whole review. My car broke down late one night and tried calling some companies but most went to voice mail, no answer or no returned calls. This company did have a live operator so decided to use the service because at that point was a lack of options. I thought it was odd that they needed a credit card before they would send the tow truck because I was planning on paying with cash. The phone operator explained the reasons why at which I thought was being difficult. I did think $125 for a 6 mile tow was alittle expensive but I was in a clean tow truck under 30 minutes and the tow truck driver didn't look or act like a creaton. I guess I could have waited longer for another company that may have charged less or provided lack luster service but I was ready to go home! The tow truck driver was super nice and didn't damage my vehicle in the process. The tow truck driver did confirm some of the companies procedures and reasons which I questioned in the beginning but made sense in the end. Overall my experience was positive and would use again if needed. more

I was in an accident on the interstate and the police recommended the service. Being from out of town and on a weekend I had no idea what to do. The tow truck driver had a plan and within a hour I was in a rental car going home. \r \r Take it from me, if you are confused with a million things going through your head, give them a call. They had a plan and exceeded all my expectations! more
