Excellent experience! I rented 3 years from Rhyne Management in Cary, NC. I worked with Sandy and others, and it was by far the best rental experience I've had. The property was in great shape. Location was prime. Maintenance issues were handled promptly. Communication was clear and friendly. The price was right! I can't say enough great things! Rhyne Management gets my highest recommendation for rentals. Thank you, thank you, thank you - you guys are the best! (October 2013) more

We rented an apartment through Rhyne for a year. To be honest, they were fine, but what really made me not like them was what they did at the end of our lease. They knew we had cats but never asked us to pay the pet deposit. Less than a month before we moved out, they came after us and made us pay $300 (in hindsight, I don't know why we did). But the real kicker was LESS THAN A WEEK LATER, they sold the apartment complex and KEPT THE DEPOSIT. They did not transfer it. And you know what the new owner said? He said our apartment was in perfect condition, therefore...NO DEPOSIT NEEDED. Scammers! more

Jo, Just wanted to drop you note to say how happy I am with your staff and property managers overseeing my rental units in Cary and West Raleigh. Having quality managers like Sandy and Elena (previously Kelli) allows me peace of mind knowing my investments are in good hands. I find your staff knowledgeable and helpful in recommending appropriate rental rates and leasing strategies to optimize cash flow in changing market conditions. Their attention to tenants needs is not only compassionate but rooted in sound business practice. Their attentiveness to maintenance issues keeps our properties at a high standard which retains good tenants, and minimizes vacancy periods. Your accounting staff do a fine job releasing income disbursements and documentation of expenses. After nearly four years with your firm, I have not noticed one error or discrepancy that could not be explained. This is quite an accomplishment. Save your MONEY! 12/16/2009

Where do I start? If I could give them 0 stars I would.\r These company has very poor communication skills. They continually overcharge for rent and when I sent them my 60 days move out notice (both through email and regular mail), they manipulated their way into charging me for a half month's rent I did not owe. \r We have put in numerous repair requests which have not been taken care of, we cannot find anyone who seems to be in charge and can help us, they lack customer service skills and are always making things up and adding stipulations, until I pull out the paperwork and prove them wrong. They don't keep up the apartments well and I have a very hard time getting them to call me back for help. \r Save your sanity, rent somewhere else. Pros: Everything is online Cons: Over pricing, no customer service, poor repair more

Highly recommended property manager for residents and owners 11/6/2008

As a property owner, I've worked with several property management firms in the area. After talking to other owners and investment real estate professionals, Rhyne Management is very highly recommended. \r \r My residents no longer complain about not getting a response to their repair needs. Rhyne has a maintenance superintendent to identify contractors and schedules the repairs and improvements needed with their work order system and the prices are fair. As an owner, Rhyne's agents are assigned an area of the county and stay in touch with the residents and communicate with residents regarding any issues. They also screen their residents well and I have the best payment history and lowest turnover I have ever had consider my self-management as well as two other local companies I have used.\r \r Residents you will find, Rhyne is a firm you can depend on, and trust to provide you with a well maintained property and will value your relationship and loyalty. They also have some weekend hours. See their web-site for details\r \r To the owners, I don't think you'll ever find a property management firm who will take the interest and management in your property like you will, but if you want to be an investor and not a handy man, Rhyne is the best and will work with you to incorporate you desires and special needs. \r \r You can keep looking but you will not find anyone better in this area. Pros: Pro-active professional management and responsive to resident and owners needs more
