Great little place that could use remodeling 4/22/2006

This place is perfect for a quick spot of breakfast on a lazy Sunday. The palce si somewhat run-down and is in desperate need of a good sprucing up. The service is friendly and expert. The food is run-of-the mill with some chices healthirs than others but it is a good value if you are not looking for gourmet stuff. Pros: convenient, reliable, cheap Cons: ambiance is lousy more

Best little coffee shop in pasadena 7/28/2002

Good food, good prices, great service. The decor probably has never changed since it first opened and thats what makes this coffee shop so cozy. The only problem I see is that they are not open long enough. Only til 2:30p.m. If they were open late, I would be there every night after dancing, drinking, you name it. Pros: Inexpensive, Good Service Cons: Closes at 2:30 p.m. more

Greasy Spoon done right 7/10/2002

With very few greasy spoon-type diners around, it's a darn good thing that The Reyn is alive and kicking. The service and food are great, the prices are cheap for a good amount of grub, and the only drawback I see to the place is that its not open in the evenings. Pros: Great Prices, Great Eats Cons: Closes early more

Down Home Cook'n 5/12/2002

Places like this just don't exist anymore. The Reyn's is like Mel's Diner except Mel has left the building. The food is like mom use to make back home. Country style breakfast is what I reccomend. Ham & Eggs, Biscuits & Gravy Hash Browns with onions, terrfic coffee served in mix match coffe mugs and orange juice. mmm my mouth waters just thinking about it! the french toast is what the Mrs has and she swears it's the best...next to hers of course. They're only open for Breakfast & Lunch so if you get there after 2pm, your too late. try again tomorrow morning at 5:30am. Forget Denny's this is the place to go for Breakfast in Pasadena. more
