The prices are pretty much average, $6+ for a burger meal, $14+ for a steak meal, etc. The food took way too long to come out. I went on a pretty busy Saturday night, got seated quickly, but waited about 40-50 minutes for the food. The service was pretty good, the waiters and managers kept coming out and apologizing; they explained that they have a super small kitchen. The food itself was decent, nothing really spectacular. Perhaps I should have asked what dishes chef recommends. They had mostly Texan and some Mexican food to choose from. The portions weren't meager, but they also weren't abundant, which is a little disappointing considering Texas is all about big everything, including portions. The atmosphere was comfortable and very laid back. It is the Republic of Texas after all. I can't comment on the decor inside, I sat in the tables outside, by the river, but I could hear the music and singing coming from inside. After a certain time (I think it was 9:00-9:30pm) they open up the dance floor inside the restaurant. People walking by would sing-along to "I've Got Friends in Low Places."
