Ok here we go! #1 Reliable credit is a sub-prime lender for people with a. Serious credit problems. b. People buying high mileage vehicle that no other bank will touch because the risk in lending people with shit credit is huge. However; When you go to a dealer, they absolutely try to avoid putting you into any type of sub-prime loan or several reasons. It costs money. If a dealer buys a car with a wholesale book of 6k and a retail book of 8k the lender, (reliable) will only loan on 6k whole sale book. So they need cash down to make up the differences, oh! BUT O COURSE YOU DONT HAVE CASH DOWN! So you write the dealer a 2k hold check that you swear will be good next payday! HA! Why because when you miss the scheduled payments and they repo there car they can after they pay the repo man recoup most of the balance at auction, assuming you have not trashed the car. Cash or prime financing is a lo quicker and gets funded really fast. In addition not only does reliable charge yo 29% that you agree to because you are an agreeable credit bandit in need of wheels and will do anything to drive away that day, and you deserve to pay that ridiculous rate, because you lack o responsibility earned it, that's why no one will co-sign for you. they also charge the dealer a BANK FEE. This bank fee can be as much as 2k. So what the dealer does behind the scenes while the salesman is trying to package you up with income, bank, phone bills, references etc is negotiating with reliable to reduce the bank fee so they can make a well deserved profit. The dealer is lucky on a sub-prime loan if they make a grand. In addition they deal with credits mutts like some of the posters here that say they will bring in the stips and never do. So it takes sometime weeks to get reliable to fund the dealer, while the dealer is chasing down the mutt, YOU to get current income, residence and all the shit you said you would bring in and NEVER DID. Not to mention insurance. So i you hate reliable so much, PAY CASH, HAVE MOM OR DA CO-SIGN OR JUST PAY YOU BILLS! \r
