Gaye is a wonderful proprietor, and an excellent hairstylist. While the salon is small, it is not crowded, and even as a male, I immediately felt right at home. You are always greeted with a smile, and Gaye goes out of her way (or it is just in her nature) to make you feel welcome, comfortable, and well-groomed when you leave. Don't go in expecting a quiet haircut with some muzak playing in the background. Gaye has the gift of gab, and a unique talent for infecting others with it. Expect engaging conversation, amusing stories, and even a bit of local gossip during your stay.
Pros: Very cozy, friendly and clean, fair prices, top notch styling.
Cons: A little hard to find your first time, (in the corner, right next to Sushi Marina)
