IT'S NOT WORTH THE RISK 6/11/2013

So disappointed! I have been to beauty schools before and have actually gotten pretty decent haircuts so I thought why not try out Regency Beauty Institute in Mesquite? The waiting area and salon all seem to be fine. After sitting at the station, the student and I consulted on what I wanted. My hair was longer than my shoulders, about to my mid-to-upper back. I explained that I knew I needed to clean up the ends of my hair (like a couple inches) but I wanted to keep as much length as possible. I told her I wanted long layers, which in my opinion is a pretty basic cut that is pretty common. The instructor came over and went over our consultation. The instructor asked where I wanted my shortest layer. I said a little longer than chin length. I was pleased to see that the instructor noticed that my hair has a natural wave and she told the student to cut the shortest layer shoulder length because when it dried, it would be about where I wanted it. I met one of the Regency Beauty Institute participants at a local fund raiser. She handed out Regency brochures and I decided to take her up on the great offer. I made the appointment last week and was treated to a delightful experience. I had my hair colored with 4 different colors. I gave her license to be creative and she did a masterful job. The trim and style that finished my coiffure were simply delightful. I will definitely go back. I definitely recommend them to my friends. more

Regency Beauty Institute Review 4/5/2011

Regency is the best Beauty school around. I went to another school before Regency and was miserable. I found them through a YellowPages app on my phone and it was the best discovery i could imagine. I called and they were very nice and up beat. The next day i went and talked to them and was convinced i WAS goin to go there. I have moved alot in my life and always dread the first day in a place that i have no clue who anyone is. The first day i went in, i felt like i had been there for a while. They are so welcoming: no matter your age, race, gender, size or anything like that. The people at Regency make it worth getting up in the morning. And yes its females and a lot of recent high school grads so of course, ''females can be females.'' Theres also men too we cant forget about them, they matter too. But trust me, Regency is the BEST, i wouldnt have chose any other school in the world other than Regency. They teach all different ways so if u learn visually, physically, or just on your o more
