Worst

Why does the staff insist on being rude when they should try to create a friendly, fun environment for patrons. The staff of Lowes has rudeness down and they don't discriminate.....

HORRIBLE!! 12/15/2007

WORST theater I have ever been to in my entire life. Every time I have been there, there is food all over the seats and the floor. Last time we were there there was a pizza box on our seats. Absolutely disgusting! HIRE A CLEANING STAFF!!! SERIOUSLY, go across the the street for a good theater! Pros: Wouldn't know. Cons: Dirty more

Sad Option In Times Square 12/2/2005

Its not a great theatre, its also more expensive than the others around it and often really noisy in the theatres themselves. Not recommended -- take the subway and travel a few stops before thinking twice. Pros: Screens - Wide Cons: Service, Expensive, Crowded more

rude staff 7/5/2003

This theater has got to have some of the rudest staff I've ever seen. It's not even that they are being grouchy - they are just out-and-out rude. One woman after being rude to me even tried to cover up her name tag and run away (too late, by the way - complaint filed). AVOID THIS THEATER! Pros: lot of screens Cons: rude staff, rude staff, rude staff more

a little customer service would be nice 2/25/2003

Why does the staff insist on being rude when they should try to create a friendly, fun environment for patrons. The staff of Lowes has rudeness down and they don't discriminate...they will dish it out to all. I have had such bad experiences from the ticket booth to the concession stand. If you are going to go to this theater...makes sure to by your tickets from the machine and bring in your own refreshments...that is the only way you can really enjoy this theater. Pros: location Cons: staff, prices more

Too many bad experiences 1/16/2003

After 10 minutes in line to buy my ticket, 15 minutes in the concession line, and 5 minutes looking for my ticket stub to get into my theater, I couldn't find a seat. Customer service was going to send someone up with me to find a seat, but by this time, I had missed 15 minutes of the movie and didn't want to disturb the whole theater by shining a flashlight in their faces. They exchanged my ticket for another show starting 1.5 hours later. But they wouldn't even let me wait in the lobby area until it started. Even the Pasta Break next door let me sit inside, out of the cold. I just don't like this theater. I've had too many rotten experiences there. It also has the most expensive concession stand. coke = $4.10 Pros: location Cons: Bad customer service, Few & unkept bathroom, adjacent theater nois more

E-Walk to this Theater 12/30/2002

I do not understand the problem all of the other users have had with this theater. The seats are extremely comfortable and spacious. The popcorn is very good, the screens are large, and the theater has wonderful sound. The only problems are that the bathrooms aren't sufficient to the amount of people who see movies at this theater, the gum on seats, and the excessive chatter...but, hey, that's all part of the fun. more

Why all the chatting? 12/30/2002

I have attended more than forty movies at this location since Febuary 2002. The seats are great. The screens are always in focus. The concession lines do not move as quickly as the AMC across the street. The place for the most part is clean. The bathrooms however are too often out of soap and the faucets not functioning. Beware. During most of the showings I have encountered something at this location and AMC location across the street that is perplexing. More than half my views have been disturbed by chatter and or cellphone rings. And really Im just referring to the chatting during the showings. If you like to watch a show in peace this place may not be for you. Cons: too much chatting more

Welcome to Loews, the android said. 12/27/2002

This theater is so uptight! I mean UPTIGHT. I've felt more comfortable going through airport security. The staff behaves like androids with their canned lines. "Welcome to Loews" seems to be the only thing they are trained to say. They won't let you into even the lobby area of the theaters early so you can get through the incredibly slow concession line so that you can get a good seat. Plus they watch you like hawks and check everyone's tickets as they enter the individual theaters. I hate to fault the staff, they probably work hard but it just seems as if this theater is managed by discharged military customer service prisoners of war. Go to the AMC theater across the street, it is far superior in almost every way. Cons: bad customer service more

Good theater 6/21/2002

When I go to the city to watch a movie, my first choice is AMC, if there's nothing interesting, then I go accross the street. The best thing about the E-Walk? The chicken tenders and fries. more

Go across the street 5/20/2002

There are two reasons to go to this theater, neither of which has to do with actual act of enjoying a movie in ideal conditions. One is if the AMC across the street doesn't have the movie. The other is if you're confused by the AMC across the street (which is totally understandable). In every other way (comfort, screen size, audio, projector quality) this doesn't quite measure up. Not a really a horrible place to see a movie, but most nearby theaters are better, so if they have the movie, skip Loews. more
