BEST STEAK HOUSE IN WICHITA 7/9/2007

On July 7, 2007 I drove from Arkansas City, Kansas (100 Miles) to the Red Rock Canyon Grill to spend the eveing with my wife to celebrate our 17th year wedding anniversay. This was the BEST steak house that I have ever had the pleasure of eating a great meal. The young man that attended our table was very nice and made numerous recommendations that made our meal great. The atomsphere was fanastic and it was a little pricey but well worth the cost in quality. I will try to eat there for any other special occassions that come up in the future. Mediocre steak, decent wine list, awesome dessert! 1/28/2007

I was impressed to see a couple of Cakebread bottles on the wine menu to start off. My steak was overcooked but not to the point of being unedible. The waitstaff was pleasant and accomodating. The mashed potatoes were really good. But, the dessert ""Chocloate Something"" was wow! Between 4 of us, we couldn't finish it. We honestly tried because it was so tasty but just too much. If I ever return to Kansas I will return here. The prices are so cheap and the food isn't half bad. It does appear as a chain restaurant, but I believe Wichita residents feel it is upscale. Best Restuarant in Town 5/6/2004

The ambience is great. During the summer, they have live music Thurs. - Friday. We find this restuarant to be moderate to upscale. The service is impecable, our stuffed poblano apparently did not arrive quick enough so they brought us dessert. The wine selection is probally the best in Wichita with the exception of maybe a few. All of the food is cooked over a hardwood grill as well. Pros: Great Food, Great Service, Great Ambience more
