Red Rock Bistro and Bar

My husband and I found this little bistro on accident and it's turned out to be one of the most memorable places I've ever been to. We frequent this restaurant about twice a month, however, in the summer we try to go a little more often. Sit down by the window (although I would recommend this only in the summer because in the winter it can be breezy). The onion strings are fantastic! Followed by the Bistro Salad. There is a wide variety of choices on the menu and even if you're not a seafood lover (like myself), it is still a must-see if you're in the Boston area. I love this place so much that my husband proposed to me right after dinner at Red Rock Bistro because it is by FAR my favorite restaurant. Great views, wonderful service, and beautiful ambiance gives this restaurant all 5 of my stars. more

Red Rock Bistro and Bar is one of the more upscale restaurants in Swampscott, MA. It has an amazing view through a set of glass windows overlooking the ocean, that is just spectacular when it is lit on a summer night. The food is good seafood, with a wide variety of choices and a freshness that justifies the relatively high price. Also, the take out window is perfect for walks along the beach on summer nights, as the window has both ice-cream and dinner. Its a popular spot on summer nights, so be prepared. more
