Red Rock Pizza

We are New Yorkers, so frankly we have pretty high standards for pizza, we used to go to East Side pizza in Boca Park, which USED to be WONDERFUL, but then they transferred Owners and it just plain sucks. So we were looking for a new place, I found the brochure for Red Rock, the pictures looked wonderful and the food selection was quite large. When I googled it, I have no IDEA who put those good reviews in, but they did, so we gave it a try. The customer service was wonderful, very friendly and even upgraded us to a large for the same price as a medium. We ordered a large chees/pepperoni and 10 wings and tiramisu for dessert. When we opened the box, we were hugely disappointed. First the pictures that RED ROCK placed in their ads online and brocure are ALL false advertisement. Even the wings, the food we ordered looked nothing like the pictures we saw. This pizza was just gross. I mean all around GROSS. Dry (I mean we had a hard time swallowing it!), tasteless dough, which was NOT crispy but almost felt manufactured and the marinara sauce is too hearty for this type of pizza, the cheese was ok. My roommate commented that it was a very cheap form of a $2.00 frozen pizzza from the grocery store. The wings, were dry and did not come with celery as stated in the pictures, the buffalo sauce was awful. The only thing worth eating was the tiramisu, it was tastey, however a definite slice of a pre-made frozen product from costco. It was 4.50 and not worth the money the slice was very small. The first thing that caught my attention is the Picasso like art hanging in its walls. This is no ordinary Pizza Place pretending to be NY Pizza. Red Rock Pizza was a surprising and refreshing change from the ordinary and the pizza is mouthwatering good. I must admit that I am a pizza snob.I was intrigued by the art but its the abundance of their toppings and their cust that will keep me and my family coming back and back. more

My husband and I decided to rent a movie and noticed the grand opening of Red Rock Pizza. We were handed a coupon by a greeter, so we decided to try it. We walked in were immediatelly allured by the most amazing aroma. The woman taking our order explained that they use only the most freshest ingredients and make their offerings from scratch. How their buffalo wings are always baked, never fried so their healthy and delicious. I have to admit I was skeptical until she offered me one that was just coming out of their oven. My husband and I were immediatelly hooked! We included an order of Buffalo Wings with our Red Rock Pizza order which is one of their signature pizza's. The pizza was bursting with the most amazing Italian sausage, pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, roasted green peppers and olives. I have to admit it was a superior pizza and the wings were great too. Im glad we chose to move to Summerlin and have found a gourmet place that we love! Pros: Excellent Pizza and Wings! Cons: no more

Red Rock Pizza uses only fresh & healthy ingredients and you can absolutely taste the difference! Im proud to say that Summerlin has its coveted gourmet pizza shop back! We ordered the a Mediterranean Pizza which arrived hot and fast in just thirty-five minutes smothered with garden fresh veggies (zucchini, mushrooms, roasted garlic, feta cheese, greek olives). I felt like I was dining in Santorini!! I was surprised and pleased to find that the new owners had sent a grand opening gifts. Along with my delicious gourmet pizza came a FREE dessert & FREE sample of their irresistible garlic knots and onion rolls.I will definately order again this time including the garlic knots! I stumbled on to Red Rock Pizza about 2 years ago. Now I like an ordinary sausage or cheese pizza. But if that is your view of what pizza should be, go somewhere else. If you are open to the amazing possibilities of what pizza COULD be then remember RED ROCK PIZZA IS YOUR PLACE! My favorite is the baja with shrimp and garlic. I get hungry just thinking about it. This is a pizza place that allows you to pick from unusual ingredients. You can even pick from unusual cheeses like smoked gouda! more

I've only eaten the pizza and all I can say about it is ""AWESOME"". The onions on the ""Pueblo"" are carmelized and gives it such an amazing flavor. If ever I want something more than some cruddy, doughy pizza, I will shell out the extra money for Red Rocks Gourmet Pizzas. more
