We stayed at this hotel last weekend as a last resort. We had planned a trip from Portland, OR to Boise, ID to drop of some family members and then head to Spokane, Wa to pick up someone else and head home. We had originally planned to stay in Kennewick, Wa but started getting to tired to drive so decided to stop. It was about 1:30 am and all the other hotels were full. We figured this hotel would be outrageously expensive but decided to see if they had any room. It turned out they had some rooms left and the cost would be around $90.00. (my husband went in and got us a room) We walked up to our room on the 3rd floor and noticed that everywhere they had signs made of paper stating to wear shoes at all time while the hotel was under construction. They were remodeling. We got up to our room and tried the key. It didn't work. So my husband called down to the front desk and they told him to come down and get another key. I waited in front of the room with all our crap and my wide awake 16 month old. He came back up a few minutes later with a key that actually worked. We tried it and realized it was locked from the inside. Yep, someone was in the room sleeping. The lady in the room came out and was really nice. We talked for a minute while my husband went down to get us another room. He came back up and we ended up with the room next door. The lady at the desk gave us a thing for 2 free breakfasts in their restaurant. The room itself was pretty nice. They say the beds are queen but they didn't seem like it. We have a queen at home and the hotel bed was definitely smaller. The room was clean and looked like it does in the pictures. The one thing I found annoying is there was no garbage bags in the garbages. I had to use one of the dry cleaning bags as a garbage bag. The room had a pretty big balcony with a view of the parking lot which wasn't that bad. The bad thing about the balcony was they had no chairs out there to sit on. I think this is something they should have. The next morning we went and ate breakfast and checked out. It was kinda odd because they couldn't find us in their system. We payed cash for the room so there were no credit cards involved. So overall, this is a pretty decent hotel and if we were in the same situation again, id stay here. I'd just make sure that my inside lock on the room was always locked.
