New name, good food 6/30/2009

This restaurant recently changed its name to SparksRedFish. I was told that this was to revitalize slow patronage. They have lowered their prices, changed their menu a bit, but it ia otherwise a delicious, enjoyable experience. Give it a try. more

What an amazing experience! 3/13/2009

My husband and I went here on a much needed date night snd we discovered our new favorite restaurant! My husband had a filet and lobster dinner for 38 dollars with a side! I had the blue crab stuffed shrimp and it was to die for. Our service was great with Deanna, she took really good care of us and was very knowledgeable. Our seats were really comfortable. There was also live music! They had a extensive and inexpensive wine list with something for everyone. I had no room for desert but ill be back! Pros: Great food! Great service! Great Price! more

There's something fishy going on at this Simi Valley restaurant, equipped with a raw seafood bar and a display area for diners to watch.

Editorial
  • In Short
This seafood restaurant, sharply decked out in redwood and white curtains, has been reeled into Simi Valley courtesy of the group behind Spark Woodfire Grill. Diners can start by ordering from the raw seafood bar or selecting from hot options, including fried calamari or steamed clams. While dishes like mesquite-grilled organic salmon with pomegranate glaze, seared diver sea scallops with bacon and other seafood selections make up the majority of the main courses, the restaurant also serves pork and lamb chops among other meaty options. Those fishing for dessert can choose from a variety of sweet treats, such as caramel apple cheesecake and a chocolate hazelnut flourless torte.
