Ok. Maybe it's just been too long since I have had to have any tailoring done on my clothing, but $30 to hem a pair of pants??? Is that the going rate??\r \r I need to learn how to sew. Cons: very expensive more

I purchased a dress here and never regretted anything more. They convinced me to buy a dress too small assuring me it could be let out...it couldn't! Then they asked me to be in a commercial for them. I still didn't know my dress couldn't be let out so I enthusiastically agreed. The owner made me feel like the ugliest person in the world and I left in tears! The only good thing about needing a new dress was I wouldn't have to think of them on my wedding day! more

Could NEVER recommend anyone getting something dry cleaned here let alone get any piece of clothing tailored. I entrusted them with my wedding dress, which was a big mistake. They did a sloppy job with the tailoring -- left the slip longer than the dress, made the dress too short and didn't leave enough hem to be able to let it down and fix their mistake, and the hemming was uneven - literally longer on one side than the other. When I followed up with the owner about the issue, she would not even listen to me. She took absolutely no responsibility for her shoddy work, and refused to even refund me the $85 I threw away for the tailoring. On top of this, my dress is ruined. I had to buy a new one. Bottom line is horrible customer service, even worse tailoring, and a complete waste of money. I am sad that this type of business is open in Portland. Pros: I wish I could offer something positive, but can't Cons: Uneven hemming, horrible customer service, waste of money more
