Red Bell Family! 3/8/2012

We absolutely consider ourselves very blessed and happy to be a part of the Red Bell family! My daughter is on her second year there, and we plan to send our son this fall. Not only has our daughter absolutely thrived at Red Bell, but her experience has exceeded our expectations. Over this last summer, we couldn't decide which room to place her in, and several teachers took the time to have lengthy discussions with us until we were comfortable with the decision. The school really focuses on paying attention to each child as an individual and are able to tailor the curriculum to match where each child is in their academic development. \r We feel confident that she will be ready for kindergarten, but we know she will miss her Red Bell family! We look forward to our son having the same great experience. Thanks Red Bell! more

Don't be duped by the cool playground!!! 2/27/2012

The certified teacher was only present a few hours in the morning. The rest of the day is run like a daycare. When I pulled up, teachers were texting on the playground with kids on HIGH play structures. (Do not be lured in by cool-looking playground!!!!!) Kids behaviors are not redirected when harsh toward each other. I did not feel the school was teaching respect and problem-solving with preschool-aged children. It was disappointing and I had to take my child to a different location. Pros: null Cons: null more

Red Bell is the best thing that's ever happened to our family. 9/28/2011

If you are like most parents, you are here to research the opinions of the parents before you to see if this may be a good fit for your child. You have probably looked at many places in the area, tried to weed out your favorites based on first impressions of the staff, cirriculum and policies, and maybe even (and most likely), the look of the facility. \r \r I was in your shoes a year ago. Although our situation was somewhat different than the 'average' we still had a very smart and good boy with a lot of potential who needed a safe and happy place to spend his days. A place to challenge him and help him grow and adjust to a new way of life. A place to encourage him and take the time to really care. He was not just another number. We were led to Red Bell by no coincidence I'm sure and I'll be forever thankful to their staff for the time and care they put into making sure my son was safe, appropriately educated and cared for, GENUINELY, each and every day. My son has since moved onto Kind more

Red Bell Memories 8/12/2011

It just occurred to me to look up Red Bell online and I took a look at their Web site. I actually went there when I was little back in the 1970's. I was happy to see it is still around and I found the history to be very interesting, especially the fact that it is a family run school. Being a small child when I went there, I had no concept of such things, nor would I have recognized the significance. But looking back, it makes sense now. Everything about the place had a home-grown feel to it. It's nice to think that a business as important as this would be run by generations of people who have such a deep affection for their work.\r \r I have very fond memories of my time at Red Bell (and Plymouth in general) because it was such a carefree time, as it should be at that age. Though we lived in Plymouth for only about a year form '77 to '78, my time at Red Bell has remained a cherished memory all these years. \r \r Some things I remember:I vividly recall a big metal castle on the playground t more

Red Bell Rocks! 8/18/2010

Our daughter has attended Red Bell for 3 years. As part of a dual income family, finding the right care for our children is our top priority. We wanted her to spend her time away from us in an environment that closely matched our goals for her...to be safe (physically and emotionally) so she could be free to explore all of her surroundings, be socially kind and accepting, be challenged by age appropriate studies, and form relationships with other children and adults outside of our family structure. As soon as we walked into Red Bell during their annual open house, we felt an immediate ease and comfort with the facility and staff. The rooms (4 classrooms) are clean and bright, decorated with students' artwork. The teachers and caregivers are kind, engaged, patient and enthusiastic. The family owners live onsite so they are always involved with the children, their activities and all things happening on the property and in the building. We learned (and have since participated) that more

Miss the school 5/13/2010

My children absolutely LOVED Red Bell Preschool. The playground is fabulous!! The best part is the cozy/family feeling. If we had not had to move out of the area my other child would definitely be attending. My son especially loved his "green room" teacher. Thanks for offering a Christian preschool where it is ok to pray & play!! more

Nice Touch 5/5/2010

I want to take a moment and comment about my recent experience at Red Bell. First, I believe it is a wonderful program that is exceptionally creative. As an example, I recently attended an evening ?bed time? reading session with my child. This extracurricular event gave everyone an opportunity to spend a few quiet, quality moments in a small group setting. It was a warm, relaxing and comfortable way to share the end of the day with family and friends. I commend the staff on their enthusiasm and creativity; the milk and cookies were a wonderful bonus. more

Bad Experience!!! 3/6/2010

I went into Red Bell Preschool only hearing good things about this school. Boy, was I wrong!! I put my son in for 2 days a week 1/2 days. He had never been to school before so needless to say, this was the first time he had been away from home. My son was 3 years old when I put him in and he was fully potty trained. On the first day I picked him up from school he had an accident, which at first I was thinking that maybe he went to the bathroom in his pants because he was scarred at his first day of school. The third day, I got a letter from the teacher that he was not potty trained and the letter was in all caps.... I was very offended that nobody said anything to me any of the times that I picked him up. Finally the fourth day I got a phone call from the office telling me that they would not work with him any longer. When asking my son what was going on at school, he told me he didn't know where the bathroom was! He has not had any accidents at home. After I told the person more

AWESOME Preschool! 2/23/2010

I cannot say enough about Red Bell Preschool. My daughter started in September of '09. She was 3 and I was worried that she might not adjust as easily. Let me tell you that after about 2 weeks, when the separation anxiety got better, she really enjoyed going to Red Bell. The teacher (Ms. Beth) and the staff did such a wonderful job in having her transition from home to the school. The preschool has such a homey environment, and the staff and owners are so warm and friendly that they made her feel real comfortable.\r \r Ms. Beth and the staff have such a passion for what they do, and it shows. They just love being around little ones, and just working with them and teaching them. And I must say, manners are very important as well. Ms. Beth has truly made a difference in my child. I can see it every day by what she says and does. She just loves Ms. Beth who makes preschool so much fun, while at the same time helping her learn.\r \r I can honestly say that Red Bell Preschool lays a more

My son loves it! 11/9/2009

I was looking for a Preschool and my niece recommended Red Bell. I love it! The teachers are all so warm and friendly. My little boy always asks if today is a "Red Bell day". He just likes it so much. I really feel the teachers are preparing my child for kindergarten. more

Absolutely wonderful 8/10/2009

For the past five years, Red Bell Preschool has been a home away from home for my sister and me. We have spent countless hours on the playground, in the classrooms, and on field trips. And, we have developed priceless friendships along the way. Our Red Bell experience has been wonderful, to say in the least. The interesting thing behind these facts is that neither my sister nor myself are Red Bell alumni; we are employees and we take great pride in our work. I like that Red Bell fosters a unique Christian structuring that provides not only a safe environment for kids, but a wholesome atmosphere as well. And, the kids love it. I have never seen a group of kids have so much fun together! I have the best job imaginable; it allows me the opportunity to help shape children?s character and plant seeds of joy in their hearts. Their smiling faces and fun laughter is enough to turn any rainy day into a sunny one. I wouldn't trade my experience at Red Bell for the world. One more thing: more

What a great experience! 7/23/2009

When deciding to go back to work after staying at home to raise my kids, I found myself teaching at Red Bell. What a great experience! My son attended preschool and both my children are part of the after school care and summer camp. They just love it! I continue to work there because of the pleasant atmosphere it provides for both myself and my children. Red Bell offers a home-like preschool/childcare environment for your child with patient, caring and well educated staff.I would recommend this school for any age.Decide for yourself, call for a tour today! A blessing to my family 7/14/2008

My son attended Red Bell for 7 years. The teachers and staff made our experience nothing shy of a blessing. Our one and only child was cared for in a fashion we could of only hoped for. We largely attribute his high self esteem and incredible behavior on those who cared for him during his early years. In a day and age of institutional care facilities, Red Bell breaks the mold. We cannot put a price on the love and attention our son received. Having been around so long, I know the effort that goes into making and sustaining a nurturing enviroment for our kids. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.Matt and Carol Adams more

My children love going to Red Bell Preschool 7/14/2008

Both of my children age 6 & 4 attended Red Bell Preschool. They have been going to Red Bell for the last 2 years. Oldest attends only pre and after school and the youngest attends full time. There are plenty of fun activities for them to enjoy participating in on a daily basis. I?ve found the staff to be very friendly and caring with my children. In addition the playground environment is wonderful with lots of fantastic toys and swings for the kids to play on. We drop our children off in the morning and feel good that they are safe and having fun. more

Our children loved it there 4/9/2008

Both my son and daughter went to Red Bell for two years. We would still be there if we hadn't moved to Canton. The staff went way out of their way to make a friendly and home-like environment for the children. Both of them had developed strong and healthy relationships with the teachers and the other children. Honestly, I can't say enough nice things about the school. I always felt that the children were in the best hands. They were always so excited when i picked them up. Often, when I thought I would pick them up early as a treat, they would cry and say I came too early they were still having fun....that says it all. more

Horrible Experience with Red Bell Preschool 2/8/2008

We heard only great things about Red Bell Preschool from many people, including a colleague of my wife's who met her best friend there as a preschooler! When our 3.5 year old wanted to go (no doubt drawn by the very visible outdoor play area) we agreed to give it a try. My wife, who is an elementary school teacher, talked with the director who came across very professionally and described a well run program. We especially liked that they would assign a buddy. On the first day all three of us went; to take pictures, ensure that the Mother didn't fall apart and to see the little guy off. We walked in looking like tourists - slightly lost and with a giant camera dangling on my neck. We went to the assigned room and stood in the entry way. We weren't sure what to do. After about 5 minutes, my wife wanted to pack it in. I didn't allow that as what kind of a message would that be for a young child? I took our boy over to a little table with Legos and got him busy on that. He came home rather more

A+ 3/5/2006

If you are looking for a preschool with friendly, caring staff this is the place for you. Children are the number 1 priority here. It is family owned and the owner is very involved in the business. The center director is amazing and all the teacher love their jobs! The children love coming to schooL. There are many family activities planned so the family can be a part of the enviroment! more
