R.A.A. changes on a daily basis, so you really need to visit frequently if you are looking for a particular item. I've found a multitude of canning jars for a project, Christmas ...

We have learned that the Reuse Recycele Center of Ann Arbor, Michigan, also known as the RAA, is using a policy of banishment for anyone that they deem to be "disruptive or detrim...

ReUse Center 3/21/2006

This place is like a giant garage sale, but they have more home improvement stuff instead of decorative items. You can find appliances, door, sinks, tile, electronic equipment, furniture, household goods, sporting equipment, tools, project ideas...and the list goes on and on. You can drop your old stuff off and they sell it for you. What a concept! It's a tax deduction if you take your old junk there....and it might be someone else's treasure. more

Not only can you get stuff cheap, you can also drop things off 8/11/2005

The Reuse Center was designed to keep perfectly good items out of the dump. Like the weekly Saturday Kiwanis sale downtown, there is a lot of useful used household and other items for not very much money. Unlike Kiwanis it's mostly a big warehouse so you have to be prepared to pick things over without much help. We have a box for the reuse center ready to go right now, so I'll be by there tomorrow to drop it off. more

An interesting place 8/8/2005

I haven't seen anything like this before but it is a must see at least once. My husband will go down there regularly and sometimes finds something we need. It's quite the flea market type place with everythng from computer parts to skis. more

Recycle Ann Arbor 7/18/2005

This is a warehouse that has used/donated household goods, everything from doors, to bedroom sets, furniture, pots, etc...they even have a pretty large book collection. Its kind of like a huge garage sale, prices are reasonable and its a great place to pick up afforable items for your home. Sometimes the parking lot is full, but usually you can always find a spot. more
