Its all about the dollar 10/16/2021

I am so very very very very upset. My boy, my love is in pain. Terrible back problem. I am not ready to let him go over the rainbow bridge . Currently his back end is unable to stand for no longer than necessary and he has double incontinence. This trouble began earlier this year. When he rests up and takes pain medication and a muscle relaxer, he has good days and bad. His recent flair up, is heartbreaking . They insist I bring him in, yet everything I read, says rest, rest, rest, do not move him. They will not give him pain relief without the trauma of loading him in the car and the stress of the journey and his incontinence is without warning I have spent thousands at this clinic. Meds I have not asked for. Treatments that don’t work on three other pets. I have literally begged the vet to help my boy. Answer NO, bring him in I am sick of vets not giving out pain relief because of people who are addicts taking veterinary medications. What about the suffering of our animals and the best care they deserve. I don’t want my boy in pain. I love him with all my heart. I’m being selfish wanting more time with him. But it’s a huge decision to make when he could have more time with rest, care, love and relief from medication. I am so upset, so disgusted. more

Do NOT Use for Exotics 2/7/2020

I made an appointment to bring my Capuchin monkey in for a surgical procedure. They had assured me that they had experience with primates. I booked the appointment over two weeks ago. I received a call before the surgery telling me to drop off my primate in the early morning. I called them to ask what they meant by 'drop off' I was told that I leave my primate at 8 am and pick him up at the end of the day. This is unacceptable with a primate. I told them there was no way that I was leaving my primate sitting there all day until they got around to performing surgery on him. A primate is NOT a dog or cat. The receptionist was very rude to me and not in the least bit understanding. Clearly they have absolutely NO experience with primates and know nothing about them. I have extensive experience plus I worked a veterinary technician for over a decade. I was shocked at her lack of empathy or caring. I was also shocked that they would expect me to leave a primate like that in their care. Primate owners always stay with their primates!!!! Obviously, they are just an assembly line for dog and cat neuters and know nothing about exotics. Also, they should consider hiring a new receptionist who actually knows something and acts like she cares instead of being rude, condescending, and uncaring. more

Great staff 11/17/2005

The Dr.s and staff are so nice here and you can just tell that they love their job. The building itself is a little old and out dated, but once you step inside you know your pets will get the best treatment. They even treat small animal such as ferrets which is a rarity in my opinion. Not matter what type of animal it is, they will give their best care! more
