Love this neighborhood spot! The staff is great and they have awesome drink and food specials that will make anyone want to come back and the food is actually really good for a bar! One of my favorite places to frequent on the Upper East Side. Pros: Crowded on nights with Specials but that is to be expected Cons: Great Deals more

Great atomosphere, poor service 5/30/2008

I went with some friends on a Saturday night as a stop along the way and we ended up staying for a couple hours. The atmosphere was great! However, I was overcharged $30 on my tab and didnt realize it until 2 weeks later when it cleared my bank! Pros: Great atmosphere and music, drinks fairly priced.. Cons: Rude bartenders and un-organized tab payments more

Great place to host a private party!!!!! 12/16/2007

I host alot of events in NYC. I recently hosted a private party on a Monday night at Rathbones and it was probably the best place I had an event. The owner was so accomodating and helped me create a memorable evening for the group. It was perfect for 100 people to get together for a celebration. The food was great too, it appealled to all taste levels, there was something there for everyone!!!! I highly recommend it!!!! more

Excellent specials and food.. will be back again and again. 10/23/2007

This place has an atmosphere that is more bar than restaurant, especially on specials and game nights. However, it does not come with that gross bar food, laden with salt. Our group enjoyed sandwiches and burgers that put this place to the top of our list when we need great simple food. They have awesome drink specials too, literally unheard of for NYC. Service was a little slow but I do expect that on specials nights. Pros: great food, great specials, great mix of people Cons: can be loud indoors, slower service on busy nights more

Great Food at the Right Price!!! 7/2/2007

Great Bar/Pub Atmosphere.....Burgers, Wings, French Dip and so much more are off the charts. Honestly some of the best bar food in the city!!! Great sports bar with 5 flat screen TV's and a projector screen as well. Very outgoing and courteous staff and a crowd that loves to have a good time. Great food and beer specials all week long. Highly recommend checking the place out. Pros: Food & Beer Specials Cons: Can be noisy at times....which isn't that bad a thing for a bar. more

Great food, fun bar 11/13/2006

The food here is suprisingly good - burgers on english muffins, fries, open faced grilled cheese - all worth it. Good specials throughout the week. The bar itself is pretty basic, nothing to get dressed up for, but always a good time. more

I have all the 'best' burgers in NYC, JG Melon's, Houston, PJ Clarke's, you name it. This place is the best. And on Monday you can get a beer and a burger for $10. more
