So I've used Range Recording to record the drum tracks for my last two albums, and I wouldn't record my drums anywhere else. They've got these non-rectangular rooms taht really help to cut down on bad room reflections. I don't know many other studios that have that.
The best part though is that the people that run it will really take the time to care about your project. The place has the feel of this awesome clubhouse. Seriously a good time.
I've recorded in stuffy studios where they just want you to get in and get out. That's never helped me to get a good vocal take. Here they take the time to listen to what you're going for.
