I stayed at the Ramada in Yonkers on Tuckahoe Road. The people were nice and they have a Restaurant and bar so when I returned from my party I was able to go to their bar and continue my party. I like that they had this right at the hotel. more

This was our 3rd stay in three years and we have always been satisfied. The rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. The hotel is off Tuckahoe road , very close to the Intertstate and parkway but up on a hill, secluded. We had our own private balcony, overlooking trees and mountains. The balcony was great considering my husband is a smoker, didn't have to go downstairs every time he wanted a cigarette. more

This former Holiday Inn is now a Ramada Hotel. I stayed there for my third time August and was still very satisfied with the place. The lobby is sort of small and sparse but the rooms are nice, quiet, clean and spacious. Despite the Yonkers address the hotel is located off the main road in a country like setting. The rooms have balconies overlooking a rural country area with lots of trees. Location is right off I-87 and also close to other major roadways. I highly recommend this hotel for all types of travelers. more

I recently stayed at this Ramada and was quite pleased. The room and bathroom were ""immaculate"" (plenty of towels). Comfortable beds and spacious seating (a room with two double beds that had a desk and chair along with two side armchairs). Located on top of a hill with upper level views scenic and lower level rooms abuting gorgeous indigenous rock forms. It is quiet and out of the way being that it is off the main road as well. Pool was large and kept clean with ample seating all around. Desk personnel were polite. I saw non-stop cleaning staff doing their very best...even mopping the stairs down. I would certainly stay again at this hotel. more

Trying to find a hotel in Yonkers, NY is not easy. Only two seem to come up on web searches: the Royal Regency and the Ramada Yonkers. We chose the Ramada since it was close to the site we were going for an event. We were happy we did! The Royal Regency is all torn up in front and is located just about on the Tuckahoe Road exit ramp of the NYS Thruway (tons of traffic!). The Ramada was just down Tuckahoe Road, but located away from the road on a hill surrounded by trees. It felt rather secluded from all the hustle and bustle. It was clean and spacious. We ate breakfast in their restaurant and it was excellent. more

The staff was superb. We had a minor medical emergency, and they got us into a room early and called the cab for the hospital. When I left a drawer full of clothes (duh!), they sent every item back. The restaurant has a wide selection and is open for all three meals. The blueberry pancakes are very good. The rooms are not deluxe, but ours had been updated and was clean. We went to three weekend Yankee games and this was a more affordable option than center city stay. Drive your car to the first subway stop and take the elevated subway directly to the stadium. Easy, quick, safe. Easy access to the hotel from the Interstate. We will definitely do this again. more

The inn's restaurant, Tontonno's, makes legendary coal-fired, brick-oven, NY pizza. It's excellent and was a surprise bonus to staying here.\r - very clean\r - free internet\r - friendly staff\r - decent view (on top of a hill)\r - comfortable bed\r \r \r Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and would go back if a stay in Yonkers was required. more

My wife and I were well satisfied with our large room with two double beds. It even had a small refrigerator (which we did not need). Continental breakfast was included for the rate of $99. We slept well. more

Ive stayed at this hotel several times when visiting New York and i am never disappointed. i know im not staying in the Plaza so i dont nitpick as so many others do. im in New York to visit the city and go to Yankee games. a hotel for me is a place to sleep, shower, and another word that begins with S. i had no problems with the staff, they were quite friendly and the pool was very relaxing also. i dont know what people are saying that theres no place to eat. sure, the restaurant closed down but there are many places to eat within a few miles and most restaurants in Yonkers deliver. yea, it may be a little outdated, but who cares. the bed was comfortable, i had a fridge and microwave in my room, and the tv worked, thats all i really care about. i think some people need to relax and realize theyre not staying in a luxury hotel. this is a nice place and i heartily reccommend it and will stay there again in the future. more
