Frank Rainieri at New Day Dental treated my wife and daughter rudely and unprofessionally. My wife just wanted to be in the room with our 12yr old daughter but instead of just saying no we don’t allow that, Mr. Rainieri decided to question my wife on how our child would be able to go to school if she has to have her mother with her. My daughter is home schooled, which earned a condescending look, and then he kept grilling. How will she have a job by herself. Well she’ll be an adult obviously. My wife walked out of what should have been a dentist appointment instead of a therapy session on her parenting skills and life decisions. Later that day we switched Dentists and my wife was told she could not have my dental records because I had an outstanding bill with them. I personally called and was told the same thing to which I pointed out that was illegal and went against HIPAA. She said I could talk to the dentist and put me on hold. 30 seconds go by and suddenly she said the Dentist said I could have my own medical records along with a bill. To which I replied I could have my records wither the Dentist said I could or not and without paying a bill. She said I get both at the same time and could pay the bill whenever I wanted as if she had some say in the matter. Of course, I can pay my bill whenever I wanted and can also have my records whenever I wanted. She was raising her voice and talking over me even after I agreed to take whatever bill they had. As I was talking she said goodbye and hung up on me. I called back and explained I got hung up on to another individual. She said you got disconnected, to which I said no, the other person said goodbye while I was talking. I could hear the dentist raging in the background. I then informed them I was filing a complaint with the WV Board of Dentistry about the whole thing.
