Poor service, cold food!! 12/30/2009

My family and I went to Raninforest at woodfield on 12/30/09. There was a shot line that went fairly quickly, the place was not full at all, it was about 2:30 and the lunch rush was done. We were seated and our order was placed, nothing fancy, just two burgers and a couple of kids meals. When the waitress dropped off our drinks, we did not see her again for 45 minutes!!!! When she finally arrived I complained about the wait but she blamed the kitchen. She said that the food just arrived at the window. I figured that she lied since all of the food was barely warm and the fries were cold. We rewarded the sub par service with a generous 8 cent tip. We will NEVER eat there again!!!!!!!!!!! more

My kids love the atmosphere. All the noises and decorations are great. My kids can actually enjoy themselves and I for once don't have to hear them arguing since they are so excited about everything around them. My family is from Texas and we always take them to Rainforest when they come visit. It is a very different environment from most restaurants. We have always had great service and an awesome time. more

Jungle Setting 5/1/2006

My company took us here for our holiday dinner last year. I was looking forward to this place because it seems really upscale and elaborte from the outside. I did enjoy the liveliness of this place. The decorations and jungle setting were all cool but I have to say the food was not that good. I got a pasta dish that I think I could do a better job at putting together. The service was good though. I do have to give them credit for their dessert though. We had some chocolate lava cake that was really great and for me it made up for the not so great main course. more

Fun place 4/16/2006

This is actually a fun place to bring our children, even though nothing is really special from their menu, we get to enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant. You can even try to touch or put a snake around your neck in this restaurant, that how wild yet fun it can be in this restaurant. The wait can be also a bit wild during the weekend and holiday because a lot of family are spending their time together here. more

Rainforest Cafe 4/12/2006

It's always a huge treat to be able to eat at the Rainforest Cafe! We don't have one in our area, so I always look forward to it :) This Rainforest Cafe is very nice - the atmosphere is so fun, with all the jungle sounds, and animals. The employees are fun loving and love to get everyone involved, and the food is to die for. They always have really fun specialty drinks - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic - as well, which makes for a fun treat. And save room for dessert - TASTY! more

A wild place to eat and shop 12/19/2005

It's a jungle in there, an adventure in sight, taste , sound and smell. Jungle plants are all over, thunderstorms rumble overhead, with animals sounds all around. They even have real birds, monkeys and etc from time to time. They have a big menu, with appetizers , soups & salad, sandwiches & wraps, burgers(that are big), pizza, seafood and more. They also have a kids menu, and a little of everything for everyone. Its a nice place to go at least once. more
