There are many gift shops in Chinatown that sell plush toys like Hello! Kitty, Blue Bear, and Sad Sam, but none of them are as cheap as RainBow Station. It's a pretty small store...

cute stuff 8/15/2005

I like going to this place to buy cute stationaries and gifts. They sell things from Sanrio and other Japanese characters for really cheap. The only thing that I don't like about the store is that the people who work there are very rude. They constantly stare at you and if you don't buy anything or just browsing around, they give you a rude stare. more

Cheapest Gift Shop of Its Kind in Chinatown 8/15/2005

There are many gift shops in Chinatown that sell plush toys like Hello! Kitty, Blue Bear, and Sad Sam, but none of them are as cheap as RainBow Station. It's a pretty small store, but all of the stores that I have seen selling these items aren't too big anyway. The only thing I don't like about this place is that the employees, although somewhat friendly, play perfect roles as salespersons who force you to buy their products. more

rainbow station 8/9/2005

Rainbow station is located in Chinatown on Grant Avenue and it has a lot of cool things from Sanrio stuff to Chinese calligraphy type of stuff. The store is of average size and the service is not bad. Many kids come into the store especially after school to check out the cool stationary and gift sets. They also have lots of stickers, pencils, and other neat school supplies. It is definitely a kid's place to be but you can also check out Sanrio downtown to see if you like it more. more

A sanrio knockoff 8/5/2005

This store looks exactly like a Sanrio Suprises store. It is located in Chinatown. This store is very colorful. You will find a lot of anime and Sanrio characters such as Hello Kitty, Badtz Maru, Pochacco, etc. You will find many toys, backpacks, combs, candy, wallets, etc. It is a perfect store for children. They also sell origami paper. more
