They treated me like I was important and like I mattered I enjoy the Doctor, the staff, the service and the kindness shown to me on my first visit with my doggie. :) I just made an appointment for my little Princess ( the cat) and I am glad. more

Bait and switch 12/20/2010

We took our dog in for teeth cleaning and an extraction. We were quoted 300.00 for this service before we left. We picked up our dog 3 hours later to the tune of 660.00 I could not do business this way and I do not understand how they can do business this way. I like the doctor and staff but they charge WAY too much and I do not like being told one price to return to more than double the initial estimate. more

Great Vet 10/26/2010

I took my 1 year old cat into the vet, because he had been limping. The doctor examined him, took x-rays, and discovered that his leg was broken. The doctor repaired his leg with a pin & cast. Edward is now doing fine. more

dog is doing fine 10/20/2010

I took my dog ?Zeus? into the vet for scratching and discovered that he had a spleenic tumor. The tumor was removed and now my dog is doing fine. more

After I scheduled an appointment at Rainbow, I read reviews on what people thought of it. I was a bit nervous because people said it was a terrible place, but I was hoping it wouldn't. I wasn't disappointed. Everyone was nice, and I didn't see anything wrong with it. I loved the place. Dr. Metzger was pretty nice, and I don't see why people say he's horrible. more

Very helpful and accommodating 7/22/2010

have been taking my felines to Rainbow for the past three years. I had to rush my flame point Siamese Mischief for a scratched cornea. On another occasion I had to take my cat Lucky in for a severe cold. They have also been helping my bengal Jynx copy with her asthma. I found their staff to be friendly, extremely helpful, and accommodating more

Steady patient ever since 7/12/2010

For my money, and my beloved Tiggy, this vet is the best. Three years ago, Tiggy was a rescue kitten--someone I knew found her on the side of a local freeway. I took her to another, well-publicized Burbank vet and had a horrific experience. Vet #1 took a cursory look, and said that she ""probably had the SARS virus"" and direly predicted that she would have to be put to sleep!! Not willing to accept this off-the-cuff diagnosis, I took Tiggy to a VCA facility in West Los Angeles, where, after many $$$$ and some grueling (for such a young kitten) tests, she was given a clean bill of health. Then, I took Tiggy to Vetco (the Petco affiliate) for her spaying, but found them to be a rather assembly-line type of place, not to mention that they wouldn't be open at their posted hours. Not good for a working person like myself. A friend told me about Rainbow and Dr. Weule, and Tiggy has been a steady patient ever since Pros: friendly more

WORST VET ... DO NOT GO! 2/27/2009

This vet used to be run by the BEST vet ever ... Dr. Weule (sp) loved animals, very personable to both people and there animals ....It was always busy. he just retired and handed vet over to a Dr. Metsger (sp) Pros: None! Cons: Dr. doesn't know anything .... if a Dr start off with "" I don't really know, but lets do this test... HE DOESN'T KNOW!!!! more
