Best

I love the burritos here and hanging our in decatur is always nice. plus i found $11 for $27 worth of food and drinks at Raging Burrito at SweetPons!

Worst

We went to the Raging Burrito tonight in Decatur. Last time we went, we had horribly slow service, but you know, that was one time and I figured we should give it a second chance....

Great food, great beer 3/6/2011

Had an excellent dinner. The Blackened Tilapia burrito for me and the Fajita Burrito for my husband. The server was excellent in beer suggestions. We tried out the Allagash White. It was fantastic and our new beer of choice. We can't wait until we can return and hang out on the patio. The rain took the fun away. Pineapple salsa and guac is amazing. more

I tried it again.. 3/2/2010

Every time I have eaten at Raging Burrito I find myself very disappointed. Simply stated, there are better places to get your tacos and burritos. The most recent time we visited, the service was very lackluster. Listen up restaurants - if you focus more on friendly wait staff and less on having a hip wait staff, you'll be much better off. The food was decent enough, but the experience (minus the nice interior) left a little to be desired. The good part? I love the chili con queso - it is brilliant. Also, they're kind enough to validate parking which is pretty handy! Pros: inexpensive, nice design, good dip Cons: unattentive service, so-so food more

one of my favorite places to eat 7/13/2009

Raging Burrito is one of my favorite places to eat in Atlanta/Decatur! Their food is really good and very reasonably priced. The ambience is relaxes, the staff is friendly, the patio is large, the draft beer selection is nice (especially now with Fat Tire on draft), and it's a great choice for groups of any size. I especially recommend the pineapple salsa and guacamole! Pros: inexpensive and great more

Great tacos & drink deals 2/5/2009

I have been a regular here for years. my group loves the $10 pitchers of sierra nevada celebration & the baja fish tacos. We had a big party in then new raging taco space next door last night and had a blast. Pros: Great spot to drink & free parking & Patio Cons: It is so busy on fri nights it is hard to get seated more

Love this place! 1/19/2009

Just got back into town after being away a while and my first visit was my favorite burrito place - Raging Burrito. Not only was it as great as I remembered, it was even better! They've added Tacos to the menu - I tried the Baja Fish, the Shredded Beef, and the Fajita Veggie, and I am now officially addicted. Apparently they just remade the former Azul into the new Raging Taco and it looks GREAT in there! AND... there were some killer drink specials. It was nice to see some familiar faces - both staff and other customers. Even though I was away for a while I felt like I was home again. The guacamole is the best anywhere. Fresh and tasty. I can't wait for spring time - margaritas on the patio! Food is fresh and delicious and the vibe is fun and inviting. Did I mention I LOVE this place? Raging Burrito is the best! more

The best tacos, margaritas,& hdtv and the new Raging Taco 10/30/2008

I just went to the new dining area connected to raging burrito. It is called raging taco tequilA bar and it is great with a relaxed, tribal atmosphere. It has the same menu as raging burrito but it also offers some tacos of the week. I went there with a few friends and watched the Ga- Lsu game on their huge hdtv. The service was attentive but not annoying. The waitress recommended the baja fish, shredded beef, and grilled chicken tacos. The tacos come on grilled flour tortilla and are served with your choice of a salad or beans and rice. My friends and I thought all the tacos were amazing. The Raging taco room connects to their big garden patio. I was glad to find out smoking was only allowed on the patio. We drank pitchers of $9 Sweetwater 420. What a deal. They have 16 or so beers on tap with a great selection of micros. I noticed they also had sierra nevada pale ale and celebration ale for only 2.95 a pint and $9 a pitcher all the time. We also had the Raging Rita and it had the perfect blend of sweet and sour and was pretty potent. We were surprised they had validated parking. It has always been a problem for me to find parking in decatur so I love this deal. I would say you must try out raging burrito/ Taco! Pros: The best tacos, friendly servers, Hdtv a beutiful patio & validated parking Cons: I live in sandy springs so i can only go once a week more

We love the back patio for margaritas and the best guacamole and veggie chili queso 8/16/2008

My whole office went to raging burrito yesterday after work and we had a great time! Tasty margaritas, fish tacos, and the best appetizers(guacamole&vegie chili mixed with queso) I have had equaled a fun time. It was hard to find where to park but when we did it was fine. For the money this is a place to not miss.. Pros: Great food, good service, fun large patio Cons: parking is hidden but once we found it they validated more

friendly service, great food and a fun back patio but too busy on friday nights 5/2/2008

Raging burrito has my favorite tacos(baja fish is my favorite) and the best margaritas and patio in town. This is what my wife and I look for in casual dining. Great food with friendly service at a good price, The relaxed garden patio makes raging burrito a place I miss the most in atlanta(actually decatur) when I am on my regular travels for business. Pros: festive patio, huge menu Cons: very busy on fri nights more

Raging Burrito's tacos are addictive and I have always had great service for 9 years!!! 2/29/2008

I was just reading the reviewer below and saw the person, who wrote its history of not liking any where he or she has eaten. I happen to be of the exact opposite opinion of you. Raging Burrito is my families favorite casual restaurant in Atlanta. We have been going since they opened in decatur in 1999.It has excellent service and strong margaritas and alot of good beers on tap. I cannot get enough of their fish tacos!! I also enjoy all the other decatur places adecaturite dislikes so intensely. If the person hates that all the decatur families go out on friday night why not go eat in another part of town on that night or just consider moving. I have lived in decatur for 15 years and I love it. Go eat at all the places this person hates. They are all great! I would avoid friday nights though because the kids are let loose to run wild around all of these resturants. Pros: validated parking, the best food and drinks Cons: there needs to be a location downtown near my work more

Just tried the tacos and we loved them. Best Sweetwater deal in the City. 6/18/2007

We have been enjoying Raging Burrito's tasty, unique burritos since they opened in 1996 or it may have been early 97. I just found out Raging Burrito now has Baja Fish tacos and we went to try them last night and we think they are amazing. We also tried their new portobello fajita and shredded beef tacos which we also loved. We had friendly service on their large garden back patio. The patio has a beautiful, huge mural of the mona lisa drinking a Margarita. My wife was surprised by how many beers they had on draft.(16 I think it was on tap) She ended up choosing a Sweetwater 420 Ale. The server told us their 5 Sweetwater beers on tap are 2.75 a pint on Mon to Wed.(Great Deal we will return soon for!) I had the best Texas Margarita I have had in many years. It had the perfect mix of sour and not too sweet. We had our first night out without our children in a while and we were very glad to go back to Raging Burrito after not going for a while. We will return soon to try the other Tacos and try some other Sweetwaters on special. Pros: Free validated parking, Great tacos,16 beers on Tap, Great decor and huge patio Cons: I now live in Macon so I can only make it up every few weeks to visit and eat at RagingB more

BEST TACOS!!!!!! 6/18/2007

Last night was my first visit to the Raging Burrito, I ordered the fish and shredded beef taco platter and I have to say that they were by far the best tacos that I've ever had! Not bland like most of the tacos of other restaurants that I have tried, these were unique and full of flavor. My margarita was perfect too, not too sweet or watered down tasting, I used to be a bartender so I'm really picky. The service was also excellent, our server was very friendly and efficient. Over all a great experience, I will definitely be back! Pros: great patio more

delicious food, super service, fun atmosphere! 3/12/2007

Ate at Raging Burrito for the first time last night with my friends and I have to say, we totally loved it. the Patio was packed, the bar was packed, and we know why. We started off with an appetizer trio, and the guacamole was by far the best I've ever had. Our waitress talked us into trying the vegetarian chili con queso and I'm hooked - had to order another one. I had a Horney Margarita that was off the chain, and a Bangkok burrito - amazing! My friend had the 3 taco plate with one fish, one beef, and the fajita veggie taco and he said each one was delicious. My other friend built her own Monster Quesadilla with Jerk-seasoned tofu, portabello mushrooms, and sundried tomatoes. I'm not a vegetarian by any stretch of the imagination, but I tried a bite and loved it! It was wonderful. Our waitress was busy, every seat on the patio was full, and she still did an amazing job attending to our needs - fast, friendly, and efficient - never saw anyone stop moving for a minute. They were on the ball! Now that the construction in the Decatur Square is done and the weather is beautiful, we will back soon for sure to try more delicious food and to check out some of the drink specials. We may even come back this Thursday to check out team trivia! I love this place! Pros: great food, efficient and friendly service Cons: So many choices!!! I'll have to eat here every day for 5 years to try all of the possibilities! more
