This auto center is breaching it's contract...we took our Chevy Blazer in because it wouldn't start ...on 10/21 (after over 2 weeks of looking at it) they claimed it was fixed and also did additional work unauthorized for what they claimed had to be done, end result bill of 1,170...so at this point the owner said he would allow us to sign a promissory note since the bill got so high..over 700 in labor and only $375 in parts...we gave him signed checks and authorized him to take payments thru March on tje 3rd...a week later the truck broke down again, we were concerned that they had just fixed it ...so after another week of being without the truck they claimed this time it was a new issue and did $770 more in work and allowed us to sign off on 3 additional payments for April May and June. A few weeks later the truck again wouldn't start so we called the shop and asked them to look at it again...after waiting for them to finally respond at this time we have proof of cashed checks from more

On a recent trip to Ocean City our van was close to overheating. We were recommended to Racetrack Auto Center by our Rental office and could not have been happier with the service we received. Troy got us on their schedule first thing Monday morning and we were out the door with a great repair at a reasonable cost before noon. Thanks guys (and Molly!) for the great service we received. I would highly recommend anyone to this establishment. This auto shop is extremely professional and really cares about their clients. Daughter works in Ocean City during the summer months and her car overheated. While trying to drain the coolant system the petcock valve broke off. So we had to locate a shop to help with the repair. A friend who lives in the area recommended Racetrack Auto. The car was dropped off and they fixed it by the next day. A day after the car had been repaired she called to say the car was hesitating at stops. I called the shop and talked to Troy. He told me to have her bring the car back and they would check it out. Our son's car broke down when he and a friend were on their way to Ocean City, MD. The car was towed to Racetrack Auto on a Saturday morning and by that afternoon Josh, the mechanic, called and gave us an estimate and said it would be finished by Tuesday, hopefully. The work was finished by Monday afternoon and cost less than his initial estimate. Josh was very friendly and understanding of our situation. He not only had to deal with a car repair but a very upset and worried mom! He handled everything great and I highly recommend Racetrack Auto. more

I was recently camping in Ocean City and my truck broke down. After contacting a friend who lives in the area, I was given Race Auto Center's name to contact.\r \r With no reservations I was told to bring it right over. Within hours, I was contacted and informed of the problem and given an honest answer as to the amount it would cost and the time to fix it. Due to problems beyond their control (like having to order the part and a holiday coming up), I was told that I could pick up my truck in about a week. I left my camper in Ocean City and headed home to Pasadena, MD.\r \r The following week I was contacted and brought up to date on the part etc. I picked up my truck on 9/5/2008. I was charged exactly what I was quoted and the mechanic took the time to explain what he had to do. When I went to leave my son noticed the driver?s door lock wasn?t working and we spoke to the mechanic. Racetrack Auto is a great repair shop for the Berlin area. We were vacationing and had no brakes in our truck and we were able to get them repaired at Racetrack on a holiday weekend! They were very good with the repair and very friendly service. I cannot say enough about this business! more
