My main complaint against this resteraunt is that the food is clearly not actually their food. Everything on the table tasted and looked as though it had been bought at Costco or some other grocery store. It wasn't horrible, but just the complete lack of effort put into the food annoyed me. The bread that comes to your table is hard and unpleasent, and identical to a certain brand that I myself have bought on occasion at the store. It is accompanied by those cheap little pats of butter in the little wax paper containers. They don't even bother to heat it up a little to soften it. My husband's sandwich was just like something he could have made for himself at home and not fresh. My experience was similar - the tortellini I ate tasted just like the kind you buy at the store, and the sauce seemed to be little more than canned with a bit of basil added to it.
On top of that the service was rather abrupt. When we arrived the place was empty. We ordered and waited and waited while other customers came in and were served their food before us. The owner/waiter/manager seemed in a rush the entire time, even when we were the only customers.
The only thing I did like about this resteraunt was how it was decorated - the owner hung empty bottles of wine all over the ceiling, and the place had a sort of rustic feel about it as a result. Unfortunately, that effect was balanced out by the crowded tables. I can't imagine why they need so many tables - there were only a few other customers the whole time we were there, yet there is a table every two inches, which results in a lot of bumping and shoving when trying to get up to use the restroom or pay the bill.
Overall it was not the worst dining experience I had ever had, and the prices weren't too bad (about 20 for 3 people) either but I felt that the quality of food and service just weren't worth even that amount of money.
