Knowledgeable, helpful, and nice. 3/4/2011

I have no way of really comparing their prices to anybody else, but what I can say is that RG Group is very knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately, the compressor I got from them was not applicable to the situation I needed. They did take the compressor back, with a restocking fee, but the customer service representative I spoke to was very nice. I needed to go through a couple of people before I was satisfied with a compressor, but ultimately I was satisfied. more

Accommodating, affordable, and a pleasure to work with. 2/10/2011

A salesman from RG Group came to meet me. He was very down-to-earth, and not pushy like your typical salesman. Anything I needed cross-referenced from another vendor, they took care of, and did a fantastic job. Not only are they enjoyable to work with, but their prices have been better than other vendors. more

We use RG Group downtown in our other building. They have actually helped us out a lot service wise, and we buy steam off of them. I have not been here very long, but I think we have probably been using them for a number of years. more

Pretty good service. 12/13/2010

We use two different divisions of RG Group. One division replaces some hydraulic cylinders for us. We also have them replace hoses and put fittings on hoses. They cut the hoses to length, and then add the fittings. Their service is pretty good; I don't remember receiving any complaints. I have been with the company for a little over a year, but I know that my predecessors used RG Group also. more

Very knowledgeable as far as hydraulics go. 11/24/2010

Van Air has been responsive and pretty good to us. We had some problems trying to get some valves and with our hydraulics, and they came in helped us find the problems. They substituted the valves and worked with the cylinders. They did their job and helped us out. They also respond pretty fast. We call them and they get right back to us with no problem. more

Most reliable, exceptional service 11/8/2010

They service hydraulic pumps for us and help troubleshoot. The one technician who comes here is super. He's a hydraulic expert. Whenever I get stuck, I call Mark and even over the phone, he can help me out. His expertise is unmatched. Our hydraulic equipment is very unique, it comes from Norway and is used for oil skimming. A lot of these parts come from Norway, and Mark has helped us cross reference a lot of these parts and get them fixed in the US, which has saved us thousands of dollars and saved on turnaround time. They're pretty well-equipped and offer everything I need. I can highly recommend their services. more

I don't deal directly with pricing so I am not sure about the price for value. Normally I find specific components and order it through my buyers who deal with RG Group. I don't deal directly with the company. However, as far as I know as long as we order on time, everything comes in on time. more

We have been using RG Marine Group for many years and have had a very good experience with them. They set up the steering systems on our yachts. We continue to use them because they are very prompt and the tech who comes out, Steve, is very knowledgeable about the system and very efficient in getting the jobs done. We deal with RG Group mainly over fax or email, so it is not a very personal experience. They are just our suppliers. We ask for something, receive a price, place an order, and it comes. It is very satisfactory. more

Good customer service, pricing a little high 8/23/2010

RG Group sell us water solenoid valves that go into our ice and water dispensers, which controls the flow of the water. We've been using them as long as I've been here, 12 years, maybe longer. They are fairly reliable, however their costs are becoming prohibitive so we're considering looking elsewhere. It's been an issue for a couple years. But even if we have an alternative source, they'll still have our business. I can tell you that their customer service is wonderful. When you call and need some stuff, they're very good. They respond to you right away, and if you have an email or phone call, you get a quick response. more

We order quite a bit from RG Group. They have quick, fast service. It only takes a couple of days for the parts to come in. RG Group also acknowledges our purchase orders quite fast. We are very satisfied with their service. more

We had some ordering mix ups. 8/3/2010

RG Group's service was good, but we had a lot of delayed orders. There was a mix-up in the the orders, so perhaps that caused the delay. We had a lot of erroneous parts come in. We had some issues where the part numbers were changed, and we were quoted different part numbers. The quantities were not correct. It all got straightened out, but it caused us pain and suffering in the process. more

Pretty good service, but their prices seem to have gone up. 6/15/2010

My experience with RG Group has been okay. The prices seem to have gone up to a higher side, but nothing unusual has ever happened. We use RG Group for parts, mostly brass and air fittings. It is pretty good service. They seem to be patient. I might find parts cheaper elsewhere, but I haven't looked. more

Our company uses Powertech. We place an order, they ship it and we receive it. We mostly get units from them. I have not done any research for a price comparison. We do not have any history of issues using them. more

Fine to work with. 5/17/2010

I order from RG Group for my company. We have used them for awhile now. Mostly we order ferrules from them. Everything is great. The only time we ever had an issue with them was because we didn't realize they send partial shipments, even if it is a very small part. It was just a miscommunication, so we had to clear things up. However, after that everything was fine; they responded well. more

Our concerns really are their concerns. 4/30/2010

We have consignment inventory at our company, and we have the people of RG Group manage it for us. It really takes a lot of pressure off of our employees. All of the employees are nice and professional. We are able to scan what we need and they ship it to us the next day. I think that is a very nice feature. Our concerns really are their concerns. When we have a problem, they send people promptly to work with the issues. I would definitely recommend them. more
