don't understand this negative review. To me it sounds like someone is acting like a little child to insult someone on the web. I bought 4 appliances over a year ago from this place and never once had any trouble. Just went back on Friday and bought 3 more for a rental unit. They have a good thing going here and people like you want to just want wine about everything. No tray. Sounds to me like your a competitor just bashing a good business. \r more

I have read the posts on here and I have found no truth in the ones before mine. I in fact checked out this company and found quality used appliance closed. the one you call Optimum appliance. Well I check them out also. well they don't even have the same owners. very good ratings on the BBB and very easy to talk to staff. We did a full background on this company. so I must say before you bash a company you should get your facts straight. \r \r Jenny, S\r \r Anoka county more

Wow, where to start. I am surprised this company is even still limping along, based on my experience with them, and what I have seen of other reviews! And check out Angie's list! They got an ""F"". Also, the BBB says they are out of business? I don't know what is going on...\r \r I try to support smaller companies by giving them business when I can, so it is disappointing to have to right this review....\r \r I purchased a dishwasher from this company for a rental property. The unit they delivered was broken and leaking upon delivery. I called the office to get a replacement washer delivered, and talked to Chelsea, the secretary. We set at least 2 appointments for delivery, all of were ignored, and then followed up with excuses and apologies.\r \r By this point the tenant was fed up with delays, and I had had enough also. I just wanted the broken dishwasher out of there, and to get a refund, and to be done with the company. I called in to explain my position, and that I no longer wanted to do business with them. At this point Chelsea informed me that they don't do refunds, and only exchanges. I responded that I had no intention of continuing to try to do business with a company that couldn't keep simple obligations like a delivery, so I was going to need a refund. At this point Chris, the manager/owner, intervened and got on the phone and apologized profusely. He offered me a $70 credit and an additional year long warranty if I would give them another shot to keep my business. \r \r Against my better judgement, I agreed, and gave them another chance. Well, my mistake. Delivery was supposed to be between 10 and 2pm. It was the day before thanksgiving, and the tenant was really upset about not having a dishwasher. 2pm comes and goes, and they don't show. I call the office, and Chelsea assures me they are on their way....the office closes at 6, still no delivery. At this point I had given up, and assumed that the company was just a scam, and I would deal with it in the morning. But at 6:30 the delivery boys roll in. Honestly, it would be hard to imagine anyone less professional than these delivery boys. They looked like stoner drop out high school students, and lacked even basic customer service skills. No apologies for being over 4 HOURS late. No apologies for keeping everyone waiting, and not even bothering to return calls to notify us.\r \r They came in, took out the old washer, and put in the new one. To everyone relief, it actually worked this time. I thought I was done with them, with the assurances from Chris that a credit to my account of the $70 he had promised was on it's way. \r \r But no such luck. Two weeks roll by, and I call again. I call and Chris tells me he will do it right away, and so sorry it slipped through the cracks. Another week goes by, and I check, and no credit. I call again to follow up, and Chelsea tells me Chris is in a meeting. I leave a message. Every other day for the next 2 weeks I call in...No Chris....leave a message. By the end I was in disbelief that a company could operate like this. \r \r So I file a complaint with my credit card company, to get the $70 promised. What do Chris and Chelsea do? They lie about me ever calling them or following up. Unfortunately for them I have 4 witnesses of the whole fiasco, and also have phone records. The evidence is on my side, so I'm pretty sure I will win the dispute with the credit card company. Honestly, $70 isn't the end of the world, and it may not even be worth my time to pursue, but at the end of the day it comes down the to principle of the matter. It is gross that they lie to me to get me to keep my business with them, then refuse to return ANY of my calls, and essentially ignore me once they get paid, then LIE about the entire situation. \r \r Seriously, this is a really sleezy company with really sleezy management and employees. Do yourself a favor and stay away.\r more
