Q-Master Billiards

I got there the guy was checking someone out asked was everything okay thats it. when i go to check out only been there two hours spent 78 dollars and the guy asked if i tipped during check out i said no and he said that i should NOT COME BACK to go to a bar because they exspect a tip i had two different waitress's and he aint serve me anyway should i tip him she should have asked he act like my 78 dollar wont nonthing i will never go back. i seriously think it was because im black i will be talking to someone about this beside q master managers more

Went their last night for Military Tuesday, it was awesome. All military gets free pool all day and night at Qmasters, just had to share. It is super cool of them to support us like that! There are usually 100-150 military people shooting pool there when I go, gotta love that. more

I recently drove past Q-Master Billiards and thought that I would walk into a little run own pool and was lastly surprised. I walked in and was greeted in a professional manner and asked if I wanted smoking or non, a big table or small table. I chose a smoking, big table. I was shocked to walk into another section of this pool room. This place is huge. The waitress said there are 72 tables. The food was great and I have a few beers that were reasonably priced at $2.50. Everyone was nice and I enjoyed myself. I felt compelled to write something after seeing some harsh reviews, I personally will go back to play some pool and feel that everyone should give this place a fair chance as you cannot always believe everything your read. more

Other than having plenty of pool tables...TERRIBLE. Played maybe 2 hours and ordered 4 drinks. Because I only gave a $5.00 tip (which I thought was sufficient for drinks) the MANAGER came up to us and actually asked us to give the waitress more money. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Didn't realize we were at a 5 Star joint and doesn't matter if your only ordering BEERS. Never again!!! Not to mention a friend of mine on another occasion was told if you don't leave a better tip don't bother coming back...needless to say...only 1 drink was ordered. more

I hate Q Masters we went there last not and right when we walk in the door we were discriminated against and I feel so hurt. Our waitress didn't come to us in till 20 mins later and we felt like our service was bad. We got charged 75 dollars and the guy which was the manger charged us and didn't even show us a bill ....dont go there you will get ripped off. We dont get why we were the only people who got treated this bad and he had a nerve to say DONT COME BACK ha trust we wont more

I have to agree with the review that Q-Masters is a great place! They have to be doing something right to be in business for 40 years! I went this for the first time back in 04 and have to admit that I was not overall impressed, but did not have a horrible experience either so continued to go back every few weeks. I have continued to watch this place get better and better over the years, they seem to REALLY care about their customers and want us to be happy. The owners really do a lot for OUR community too. They hold many fundraisers, offer FREE pool for the Military, on Tuesdays and have good prices. If you have never been there before, than I suggest you give them a try. Thanks for reading. more

This is a wonderful pool room. I have been all over the country and this is my favorite pool room. They do ask that you take care of the waitress IF you receive great service. For pete's sake waitresses in Virginia usually make $2.15 an hour! If you go to Q-masters you will not be disappointed. I had my last birthday party there with about 30 other people and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. And the owners name is Barry not Brady! Pros: It is huge! On Friday, 23 December 2005 me and a friend of mines were playing pool and having a good time. My friend proceeded to pay for the drinks and was approached by someone asking why he wasn't tipping the waitress. He then went on to tell them how she'd been very slow in bringing our drinks. He tipped the first waitress we had when we first got there because her service was prompt. He was then told that if he didn't tip, he couldn't return to the pool hall. After about two minutes one of the guys who worked at the front counter approached us and told us that we had to leave because we didn't tip. I then began to say that there weren't any signs saying that it was mandatory to tip and he explained to me that it was the owners policy. If your looking for the best in billiard atmosphere with friendly staff, look no further. My wife and I go to Q-Masters every weekend with friends.
