This place is hands down the best place I've done to for LHR -- and I've gone to six different places. The laser that they use is top of the line, after a single session MOST of the hair is gone. after six sessions, it is like it was never there in the first place.\r \r I didn't know this before, but apparently there is a big difference between the various lasers used at different salons. The difference in hair removal with pulse's was really noticeable. Their staff is great and the location is convenient. I'm definitely going back. more

I purchased a groupon for 3 sessions of laser hair removal for brazilian bikini, and now wish I had purchased two! I had amazing results on just the 3 sessions alone. I had one session with Melissa and two with Kim, and they were both great - knowledgeable, and very thorough - they take their time and make sure to cover the area being treated with the laser carefully. I definitely plan on returning and hope they do more promotions soon! I've experienced laser hair removal at two other places in the city so far, and Pulse is by far the best. more

\r I went to pulse laser for hair removal and started my underarms, i had my first appointment with Melissa she took the time with me to explain all the questions for me that i had and i see great results also i had a treatment with Michelle for my Pigment(freckles) i had 2 treatments for my freckles and see a big difference on my skin my skin looks feels great i don't wear any make up after those treatments' i highly recommend them....great customer service cant wait to go back for my next treatment don't waste your money to going any other place go to PULSE \r \r more

EXCELLENT SERVICEBEST LASERS EVER 10/29/2010

They ladies there were nothing but very informative and kind. The treatment was explained to me in detail and they were very gentle. As a black woman laser treatment is tricky because it may not work. But their lasers worked wonders. My skin is nice smooth and radiant. I have waited years for skin like this and I thank them very much for helping me achieve it. No more neck and chin hairs!!! more

Skin tightening 10/27/2010

I found Pulse Laser thru groupon. What a great find. I'm very happy with the service and the results from the skin tightening. I feel it has worked so well that I do not have to use any fillers anymore, that alone is worth it. Michele has been great she is very professional and she knows her stuff. All the girls there are so friendly and make you feel so comfortable. I would say if you are looking for a place to go to improve you skin this is the place to go. more

Pain-free Hair Removal 10/19/2010

I came to Pulse Laser via an amazing Groupon deal and was instantly impressed. I knew of other people who had gotten laser hair removal and reported it to be painful and not very effective. Michelle made me feel comfortable at once - a big deal, since we were doing my bikini area - and I saw great progress after just one session. It was also quick and painless. What little discomfort there is fades in seconds - these are great machines that give a light spray of water immediately after the pulse, making for a very soothing experience overall. Michelle is relaxed and easygoing and creates a calm and comfortable atmosphere. We were chatting so easily, I was shocked when she told me she was done. Having been to some lesser spaces, I can also say that Pulse is top-notch when it comes to cleanliness and layout - it's quiet, comfortable, and sanitary. Everything from the towels to the humidifier to the all-important lasers themselves are obviously the highest quality. I've been twice and will definitely be going back for more of the great services they offer. more

Don't know what to do about Acne Scarring? 9/8/2010

Cystic Acne and the scarring that goes with it is such a hard thing to live with. I thought I would never be able to fix this problem that developed on my face at puberty! I am trying to get involved in film and television and I knew I had to do something to improve my skin. The options out there are very extreme from deep chemical peels that have a 2 month recovery time to plastic surgery. I don't have the time or money for that. Then, someone told me about Pulse Laser and Skin Care Center.\r \r Pulse uses a new laser called Smooth Beam to treat your sebaceous glands and minimize or even get rid of scarring. I was really nervous about treating my face with lasers until my first visit to Pulse. The Licensed Laser Technicians there are awesome. They actually really care about your skin and wanting to improve it. I didn't feel like a number or that they wanted my money, instead they worked with me to find the best treatment options for me at a great price! They are honest and caring people and I have never felt more comfortable about treating my skin. The technicians there such as Michele or Melissa actually have done Smooth Beam themselves or treated family members with the laser. I don't know about you, but that made me feel like they really believed in what this laser does.\r \r I have just finished my second treatment and my face looks and feels really good. I have naturally oily skin and my face is not shiny after a whole day of work. Incredible! If you have these same frustrations, you have to check out this place. Go to their website and compare their prices to any other reputable place in New York. I promise you won't find a better place. more

Great treatment and care 8/15/2010

I went to Pulse last week after purchasing an amazing deal online.I filled out a pretty long history questionnaire, which I thought was necessary. The office was clean, the machines were new and nice. The staff was great and professional. I have been going for laser treatments for years now, this was the quickest most painless laser treatment I have ever had. I got my underarms and brazilian done. In addition to my outstanding experience at the office, I got a call from Pulse to find out how I felt a few days after treatment. I highly recommend getting rid of your unwanted hair here, it's totally worth it! more

Totally worth it 7/31/2010

I have always wanted to get laser hair removal for under my arms because I sufferred from razor burn every time I shaved and could not endure the required growth period to be a regular for waxing. I always thought laser hair removal was too expensive and too much of a luxury to spend on myself. I am so happy I found Pulse! The pricing is so reasonable it is actually less expensive over time than shaving or waxing because it is permanent. Pros: Clean, soothing and relaxing environment more

Great Lasers 7/6/2010

Had laser hair removal on my legs and underarm. It only took two times and the hair isn't growing back. I barely felt it. The laser was awesome. I also had a peel on my face by Michelle. It took three days and then my face started to peel for another three days. The new skin glowed. Loved it. Highly recommended. There is also a spa-like feeling about the place, which I liked. Pros: great lasers, fabulous chemical peels Cons: can't think of any more

Awesome lasers 7/2/2010

Had laser hair removal on my legs and underarm and the hair hasn't come back since. The lasers are awesome. I barely felt it. Also had a facial peel with Michelle. My face started peeling after 3 days and continued to peel for 2 more days. My skin glowed after. I highly recommend this place. more
