The Scene
The light-pink stucco walls and hanging planters give this restaurant a friendly atmosphere that's only enhanced by the excellent service. Patrons are greeted at the door by staff members and lead to cozy booths or tables. Mexican music keeps the atmosphere lively.
The Food
Start with a heap of warm nachos, piled high with cheese, guacamole, sour cream, beans and salsa. The arroz con pollo consists of plump chicken slices resting on a bed of Mexican rice, smothered in melted jack cheese. The marbling in the carne asada results in tender steak that tastes wonderful wrapped in warm tortillas. Don't miss the chicken mole, a slightly spicy sauce with chocolate undertones. Vegetarians take note: If a meat dish sounds appealing, ask your server if it can be altered for your dietary needs. They're usually happy to accommodate.
