Nearly a year after a 4/17/2009 mammogram, I got a precollection notice with a $650 bill. After months of calls, faxes and emails, I was told by one of the people in the process (who will remain anonymous to protect her) that this agency price gouges, insurance doesn't pay full amount, then remainder often is billed to patient. Sometimes they adjust, sometimes they don't. In my case, I am having trouble reaching someone who can help me and give me straight answers. I have never had a bill this high after a mammogram with my insurance policy, which has been the same for years. I'm still battling and it is now with collections. If you must go here, ask about fees up front and make sure you keep all of your paperwork and statements. This will impact my credit rating and I am losing but not giving up.
Pros: Location is convenient (but you'll pay for it)
Cons: Price gouging, long wait, hard to get bill people on phone
