Primrose Acres Kennels

We have used this kennel for our dogs since 2008, and have had nothing but positive experinces. The dogs love to go there. They are barking, wagging their tails, and pulling on their leads to get back to the ladies to begin their vacation. I was very impressed the last time we picked our dogs up from the kennel because a dog that was boarding there had gotten sick, and one of the ladies took it to the vet for the owners while they were away. It is so nice to know that when an emergency arises with one of my animals, they will be taken care of like extended family by these ladies. We would not think about going to any other kennel since we found Primrose. Thank you ladies for being such wonderful caregivers for our little ones. more

Don't know why these other people have a problem with the wonderful ladies who own Primrose. The one lady sounds like she came when the business was closed. That is inappropriate behavior on her part. I have never had a problem with these folks and they always work hard to please people. Try them , you will like them very much!!!\r \r Larry more

Absolutely no regard for pets, they only care about the money! My Aunt had a stroke and we had to cancel our vacation. We made our appointment on Monday for Friday night. I left a message on Thursday night to cancel the appointment for Friday. I followed up on Friday to make sure that they received my message and the conversation was nasty. The lady said, ""Oh, Yeah, that really stinks, thanks for leaving me with an open kennel on a holiday weekend."" Horrible customer service!!! Chris, you forgot to mention that when you came to pick up Colt, your Westie, it was Sunday and we were closed. I don’t know what gives you the right to bad mouth me or my kennel when you are the person that is wrong. Do you go to your Doctor or Dentist’s home on a Sunday and demand that they open their place of business to serve you? I have a right not to be disturbed on my day off. The first time we took our dog there for a one night visit we were very pleased. The second time was unfortunately not the same experience. We tried to pick our dog up earlier and called to let them know. Unfortunately I didn't land on the kind lady I had worked with in the past. One of the two ladies is definitely unprofessional and I would go as far to say that she displayed features of someone that had anger management problems. This was all over us just coming home early from a trip and wanting to pick up our dog earlier. I will never leave my dog with them again. I will also advise those who recommended it to me in the first place of my unfortunate experience with them. Pros: someone lives there on site Cons: one of the owners is extremely unpleasant more

I went to check out a few places when we moved here and this was the cleanest. These women are great with the dogs. Mine came back very happy and the next time we went they could not wait to get in the door. We were greeted warmly on arrival and the kennel is very clean. Pros: in the country , very clean more
