Worst Cigar Shop Experience! 9/6/2011

PRIME CIGAR BAR IS THE ONLY PLACE NOT TO GO FOR CIGARS IN WI.\r \r Prime Cigar on Bluemound is a great location! The shop is nice! But, everything else sucks. The humidor is big, but there's nothing there. They stock mediocre cigars and the selection is slim to none. I once asked for some help from the owner to find some cigars that i wanted to pick up for the occasional get together I was having that evening. He not only was an douchebag, but he continually gestured that I had no idea what I was talking about. I may be young, but I know a good cigar when I see one. I ended up just buying an excaliber, decent cigar from hoyo. Costed me over $13. Thats pretty BS. To compete with online cigar shoping and other stores I'm pretty sure anyone would understand the concept of Fair Pricing... Apparently not Prime. Another point to bring in, They don't allow carry-ins. A friend of mine bought a box of cigars from an event prime was holding. The next day he went back to Prime to light some of his new cigars up. The bartender said that there was no carry-ins allowed. He explained how he bought those from Prime the night before and she said that it didn't matter. He walked out and will never go back. I have many friends including me who boycott this store and would rather give up an opportunity to enjoy a cigar than lower our standards and give into the way that this establishment does business. Plus there's nothing to choose from anyways. Horrible selection, Horrible Prices, and Horrible service make this Cigar Shop a Horrible experience. more

PRIME CIGAR BAR IS THE ONLY PLACE TO GO FOR CIGARS IN WI 12/3/2010

I had heard all the talk about the ""BIGGEST IN THE MIDWEST"" and a Zagat rated cigar bar, but didnt believe it until now, and I am Now A Believer....Prime Cigar Company/ Bar probably has more cigars in its humidor thatn all of the other area cigar stores combined- Primes Humidor is almost as big as my old favorite in Delafields ENTIRE STORE !! And the prices are tjhe lowest...as well as the only cigar shop that I have ever been to that has factory seconds and buy 3 get 1 free deals going all the time.....Prime reminds me of Corona cigar company in Orlando, with Artistic renderings and paintings on the walls, and monster TVS thru out, as well as a sparkling bar and helpful staff...PRIME CIGAR IS THE ONLY STORE TO GO TO IN MILWAUKEE? Would not go, unless your are not paying... 6/6/2010

went into this place a few days ago, figuring I would branch out from my normal ""cigar"" smoking establishment. I walked in, and noticed a nice bar area, and a huge walk-in humidor. This was the ONLY good thing about this place.\r \r I walked into their humidor, and was shocked to see their limited selection. sure, there are alot of cigars, but only a few noticable brands. I walked over to their CAO section, and was shocked at the prices. nearly double of what I paid at my ""normal"" cigar shop. 10 - 14 bucks for what would normally be a 6 dollar cigar. After discovering that ever ""name"" cigar was double the price of what it should be, I decided to look at some of the ""bargian"" brands, which you could tell, were not good smokes. I thanked the attractive, but overly perfumed, female bartender, and walked out of Prime Cigar with nothing more then 30 minutes of my life wasted. I continued over to my normal cigar shop, convinced never to betray them again.\r \r Talking to some other cigar smokers, I was shocked to here about why Prime Cigar has a limited selection. Rumors consisting of their prices, and possible ""rebranding"" of cigars... which is shocking. Pros: Decent enviroment Cons: price, selection, rumors more

nice place. Relaxed place and its got a bar.\r \r The owner of this place also owns the Famous Smoke shop in Milwaukee on Brady street.\r \r The owner writes his own reviews of his store for both of his stores. I hate that.\r \r His place on brady street stinks! \r \r Anyway, prime had a nice selection of cigars. The only thing that bothered me was they had Drews Isla Del sol cigars in the Java Cigar Box. Seemed like false advertising to me as the boxes that the Isla Del Sols have completly different boxes as the javas. \r \r Obviously the other two 5 star reviews aren't written by customers.\r \r Probably wont go back because i was treated so poorly at Famous. Ill just stick to cigars international online more

Prime Cigar Company Best Of The Best -Biggest in the Midwest !! 10/10/2008

I was shocked when I first visited Prime Cigar Company in Brookfield !! It boasts the biggest walk-in humidor in the midwest andthey werent kidding !! The humidor alone is bigger than the entire store in Lake Countryand full of great deals and a huge amount of cigar brands including many micro-boutique cigar companies that are usually only found in catalogs !! Furtermore, Prime has a 4000 square foot euro-style lounge replete with plasma tvs throughout , a full bar, and plush leather seating !! Prime Cigar Company is truly the Best of the Best-one you dont want to miss !! Pros: The Largest cigar store/lounge in the midwest !! Cons: Too many great deals !! more
