I took my teenage son to see Dr. Eden for about a year or a little longer. He was being treated for anxiety and depression. Although she stated up front that she was not a child psychiatrist, which was honest of her to do so, I agreed to see her. Although she did prescribe medication for my son, which was the appropriate treatment, her personality was a real downer! Both of us came out of every 10 minute appointment feeling extremely depressed, even if we were happy going in. It seemed to get worse as time went on. I finally told the counselor that SHE recommended we see , that I felt that Dr. Eden needed the psychiatrist more than we did! He had a hearty laugh at my suggestion! I'd call that an agreement! Or at least she needed a course on compassion. On most every visit, I went out in tears! I agree with the last person, who wrote that she is the worst psychiatrist in Lake County, but I would add the worst one in Cuyahoga County also! She needs to get her act together, as she is actually accepting money for affecting vulnerable peoples' lives!!!! After talking to you, Dr. Eden, patients are not supposed to feel worse, they are suppose to feel better. Didn't they teach you that somewhere along the way? Or didn't you learn that somewhere along in life? I gave you one star, but you don't deserve any stars. Stay away from Dr. Diane Eden if you want to maintain your SANITY!
