Very pleased first time customer!!! Brought my dog Onyx there on Friday for the first time, and was so happy with them that it will def not be the last time. No it is not a fancy upscale joint if thats what your looking for, but they were nice and did a FANTASTIC job on my dog at a very reasonable price. I will absolutely be going there from now on. Best Groomer ever- I have taken my dogs for nail trims and grooming, plus taken two cats. All of them looked impeccable and were treated with love and kindness-they love to go back! I recommend them all the time, and I started going there on a recommendation. more

I have a Newfoundland ""puppy"" and started taking him there 6 months ago. He gets excited just walking in the door! They do a good job with him and are very reasonably priced, especially compared to some other places I've taken him. I've read other reviews about how ""horrible"" this place is, and I'm sure my dog would not be so excited to be there if they abused him!! They've always been very friendly and helpful. I recommend it. more

I have three St. Bernards, one is 8 the other two are 4 and ive been takin them there since ive got them. They are always friendly and professional. They are very interactive and loving towards my dogs, by far the best place around. Dawn always takes the extra time if needed for my dogs. more

I have Charlie, a west highland terrier, Louie, an old bassett hound, and Rombo, a long-haired cat - all of which I take to Pretty Coat Junction for baths/ haircuts : Rombo's a little overdue. Dawn (same owner for many years) has always treated myself and my pets with respect and courtesy. I had a SEVERE case of fleas on all 3 (and in my home) this past summer. My dogs get excited to go there, but NOT to THE VET - thank God we didn't have to.. Dawn (and her staff) gave me excellent suggestions on what to do at home, and my boys were pristine and flealess when I picked them up. Pretty Coat Junction made this hopeless situation quite manageable. Excellent service, trustworthy, always reasonably priced and simply the best around. more

Pretty Coat Junction has been in business for a long time (at least 20 years) I've been getting my dogs groomed there for 10 and I've always been treated with respect. My German Shepherd is a hand full and he always looks great after grooming. The reasonable prices are nice too. Highly recommended! more

I have been taking my dogs here for over 7 years and I love this place! One is very old and they do a great job with taking extra care and gentle handling of him. He is an airdale and the other is a schnauzer. All groomers I have been to in the past can't tell the difference between these two dogs and always gave them the same cut--at TWICE the price I pay here!!! more

We called The Pretty Coat Junction to see how much a cat grooming would cost. I was taken aback when the person answered the phone with a ""Yeah!?""....as if I was bothering her by calling. After my initial shock of the lack of professionalism, I let her know that my cat only has one front leg and asked if that would be a problem. (As sometimes they place the cats in a harness that would require both legs to be used properly). Her response? ""We'll just hold it down. It might bother the cat but it won't bother me any."" more

PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR ANIMALS TO THIS DUNGON OF HORRORS! I worked at this shop, Dawn is my own mother. She hits,slaps,hog ties and pushes dogs off the tables! I witnessed her hit a dog repeatedly with a wire brush in the face because it would not sit still! I am looking in to what i can do to put a stop to this animal cruelty. my sis has witnessed her push a dog off the table and let it dangle by its neck tied up with a choke chain. The owner is my own mother,but because of the severity of physical and mental abuse she afflicted on me and my sibblings as children,i DO NOT AND WILL NOT have any thing to do with this sick person. i am going to school for zoology and the animal abuse ive witnessed growing up still makes me sick to my stomach. im posting this because i DO NOT want any more animals to suffer. more

I didn't even get in the door so I can not comment on the service. There are no hours of operation listed on the door and when I called to inquire about this as well as service, I was greeted as if I were stupid for not intuitively knowing when they were open, how the process works (of COURSE I had to make an appointment...DUH!) and so forth. Needless to say, I will not do business there. If they treat me this way, I can't imagine how they would treat my dog! This economy can not be so bad as customer service like this suggests they dont really want the business. good luck! PS I had to give them one star as a rating is requited otherwise, I wouldnt have given them that. Shame on you Pretty Coat Junction! Cons: Customer Service more
